Meh. Today I felt pretty crappy, my day sucked. From bombing a test to being "bullied" (notice the quotation marks), it just generally sucked. Got anything angry for me?

 

Oh, and have some Iron Maiden, I dug this album along with my dad's millions of 80's rock albums a few weeks ago.

Yeah, yeah, it's not super heavy or anything. I always have liked my Maiden.

Death metal/general, really. Much better death metal than these guys, but nice when you're angry.

Good choice, that is probably my favorite song off that album. Though to me, the song Holographic Sight sounds literally like they recorded every single note individually and then cut them down to be perfect, then pasted them all together for the track. Meh.

I personally love Judas Priest and Rob Halford. He actually helped me to come out as a Bisexual. But gawd are they heavy! No matter what genre their ever great hands have contributed in some way.

Slice the Cake. Some more great deathcore. They do a lot of symphonic stuff, kind of like Winds of Plague, but it doesn't sound gimmicky. This song demonstrates that along with some powerful black metal influences.

Sooo, listened to some Kreator today. This album to be exact, Coma of Souls.

 

I love how the slower parts of the album just fit in well with the rest of it. I personally hate when bands record a slower track or part of a song that just doesn't fit if you know what I mean.

Ensiferum is my favorite folk metal band. Their new album was pretty good, although I found a few tracks to be mediocre. In My Sword I Trust, Burning Leaves, Unsung Heroes, and Star Queen are still amazing tracks though.
