Did somebody say one-man djent? Or at least progressive metal. But yeah, this guy's Polish, in addition to being a genius.

 

 

I downloaded that album to listen to while on the car journeys on holiday. Glad I did, cause that guy is seriously impressive. I also got this, which featured a guest of Gru on this song. It is amazing music.

I get a kick out of watching live videos of this band, especially the bassist and vocalist because they don't look metal at all, but yet they still are - on SO many levels. XD

Aspid? That is one of the rarest bands to grace my collection. It was pretty hard to find that torrent.

Blogspot sites are your best friend. You wanna know what's even MORE difficult? Finding a torrent (or hell, even a physical copy) of their original Extravasation album - where the whole album isn't sped up by 10%

 

 

A major difference. The songs will feel a bit slow, but the vocals are more epic.

Also, Testament's Dark Roots of the Earth was released a few days ago. Avoid it, it sucks.

Let me rephrase that - its slow and yucky, and Testament could've done a whole lot more faster stuff considering who's playing drums on that album, but they decided to play it safe and continue with the mid-tempo bullshit that doesn't make me hard grab my attention like Practice, New Order, Legacy, or hell even Formation!

 

 

Also, holy shit Heavy as a Really Heavy Thing is awesome! That album is so fast and brutal!

 

I just wish the quality was a bit better, but I guess it would take the uniqueness of it being raw...
