I'm a huge Pokemon fan, and I would like to know what your favorite region is! My favorite is Hoenn, because it introduced the Battle Frontier, had cool starter Pokemon, memorable Gym Leaders, amazing landscapes, and introduced secret bases! But I would like to know what your personal favorite region is. Let the voting commence!

I am stuck between Hoenn and Sinnoh.

 

Hoenn had better quality games (except the most frustrating gym leader in Pokémon. *cough cough* 3rd gym). Never been fond of water. But 3rd gen has my favorite legendary, and the only decent Grass starter.

 

Sinnoh had horrible starters, and the games themselves weren't as good. But there was a lot more to do in this region post-game, and they split move types from attack types. Finally. The landscapes were  more beautiful, and it had one of the only sountrack pieces from a Pokémon game I ever heard to literally soothe the soul (Pokémon League music).

My absolute favorite would have to be Hoenn. It's mostly nostalgia, as Emerald has always been my favorite game in the series.

I love all the regions, but I think my favorites are Hoenn and Unova. Hoenn's landscapes weren't all that varied, but it was still rad, and it had some of the coolest towns, like Forretree and Pacifidlog. Unova had a lot of variety and was just fun to travel through.

Unova. The towns are all pretty unique from one another, the tower locations have more of a sense of scale than any previous Pokémon game, not to mention the bridges... some might not like the mashing up of 2D and 3D graphics the region did in excess, but I really did!

I like Hoenn a lot too. I love how it's tropical and even jungle-like in some areas.

Pokémon wise, I like Unova. There are so many Pokémon that are both likeable and memorable to me. Besides Emolga, I don't really hate any of the Pokémon in this region. Heck, I could even say that I actually like half of this region's Pokémon. c:

 

Landscape and game wise, I like Sinnoh. This is mostly for nostalgia, but travelling from one town to another as well as having to backtrack brings back fun memories. Stuff like this makes this region more fun and believable. I don't know why people dislike DPPt, I thought they were fun games. c:

Probably Hoenn due to pure nostalgia. Ruby was my first Pokemon game.

Unova is probably my overall favorite. It has seasons! Plus it's based off of the USA. lol. I just somehow ended up really liking Generation V, as well. It is my favorite generation post Generation II.

 

Kalos might come in second, mostly because of the European influence. Parfum Palace is the best, being based off of the Palace of Versailles. I am a complete sucker for Baroque and before European architecture. Kalos also had the best music post Generation III... by a long shot. I look forward to hearing R/S's music reimagined with this generation's style.

 

Kalos also makes me think of beautiful chilly autumn days for some reason. xD (which I love, of course!)

My favorite reigon is definitely Hoenn. Not because of the game itself, but if I could pick a reigon to live in, that would be it.

Hoenn, because Pokemon Emerald was my most successful game. I became the champion almost effortlessly, and played through it three times.

It's probably Sinnoh because seems to have a lot of variety and a lot of fun things to do like underground, Super Contest, Poffin making, and I like the Battle Frontier more than the Hoenn one.
