This is why I despise most of humanity.
These kids think it's ok to tell someone that they are worthless, stupid, and whetever the hell else because they aren't the same as them, and don't like the same things as them. It's not even completely their fault, honestly, it's the fault of this entire broken society. People are alienated for the most ridiculous things, and it disgusts me in some of the worst ways possible.
But honestly, I feel like the kid may have made quite a rash decision (not that I know this entire situation, I just basing my thoughts off of what I saw in the video). It is very clear that we need to educate children as early as possible about depression, suicide, and how to prevent both of them, if we want to prevent things like this in the future.
My heart goes out in the fullest to the kid and his family, and I hope this will change a few people's perspectives on the topic of bullying and child suicide.
Edit: About the poll, no. I don't see how suicide could work it's way into an innocent kids show like MLP without some problems coming with it... At best they could make some kind of metaphor about it, but that would probably sail right over the heads of most of the younger veiwers.
