Weird toys you used to own

anyway I had a few old weird toys but I can't remember them I'll post em, up when I can however what toys did you bronies own which today you find strange or creepy?

Why destroy them? I'll be honest I actually used to LOVE G1 I prefer fim now but I gotta give them credit for fairly good writing along with without it we would not have fim but if you didn't like em, it's fine

 

 

 

I once got one of those "Boy Zhu-Zhu pets" for Christmas. First of all... the idea was weird. But it had this ONE piece that came with the set that reeked of chemicals and icky crap! I think it's still around, but I doubt anything like that is still in my house!

I remember those! I also remember when they distributed them as 'Go Go Pets' and they ended up being pulled from the market because of some harmful part in them... By the sounds of it I hope you didn't have them for very long!   

 

Around 70% of my toys consisted of bootlegs and knock-offs that my mum used to buy me from Poundland. If you've ever seen Ashens' videos then you'll probably have a good idea of what I had to put up with as a small child.

I remember hearing in the news a lot of toys got pulled for being made in China with lead paint. It was a while ago, and I feel like Taco Bell was relevant to the memory.

...I think I once had a Scooby Doo Chia Pet? That might have been someone else. I can't remember...

 

Keep in mind, when I was a kid, I had TONS upon TONS of toys. Action figures, play sets, mini toys, vehicles, robots, lots of knock off toys from drug stores and stuff, etc. I can barely remember all of them now. If I remember any other weird ones that I definitely had, I'll come back and post again.

 

Also, keep in mind, I collected all those toys because I had a pretty toxic mindset when I was a kid. I had some socializing issues even though I really wanted some real friends. One time, I saw some other kid whipping a large Power Rangers figure from his backpack. This was when Mighty Morphin was new and still on Television. Everyone went NUTS! He was the talk of the playground! I wanted to do it too, but when I finally got some toys, I just couldn't do it. I was afraid the other kids would laugh at me, or maybe call me a copy cat. And so, I ended up in a self-destructive cycle. I'd collect toys with the hopes that maybe they'd help me make friends, but I was too shy to share them, so I'd keep collecting in hopes that I'd find the one toy that would change my life for the better. Never happened...

 

Thankfully, my mother snapped me out of it. At one point, my toy collection was so out of control, she made me throw away half of them. Yeah, as a kid, it was pretty painful parting with all that childhood swag. But I needed that wake up call. Now a days, if I collect a toy or anything similar, it's only just for me. And I did have fun with all those toys as a kid, I was a child who liked super heroes and stuff after all, but I am glad I grew out of that.

My siblings and I had this dinosaur plushy with some sort of squeaky toy thing inside it. But instead of squeaking, it would let the air out slowly.. I think it was supposed to resemble a dinosaur roar, but instead it kinda sounded like the dinosaur was screaming. 

 

... I think we still have it somewhere. For some reason, we all loved the darn thing. It was so overly dramatic....

I don't think so...I really only played with like teenage mutant ninja turtle figures when I was a kid and other things like that.

 

Though I do remember me and my sister used to make a city out of VHS tapes when I was younger. We made videos of us playing and would mess around with the audio and junk.

I had one of the "Baby Furbies".  I finally shut it in the closet, where it eventually died.  It said three peculiar phrases when I had it: "Where's fun?  All gone.", "Where's Jimmy (my name)?  All gone.", and "Itchy bitchy!"  I swear I'm not making any of them up.

Weird toys I have still are the spinmasters Zoobles animal toys push their heads down once their eyes blink push again they act like they're sleeping plus they dance on their happitat haa! yes that's what they call there homes! Then some of the weirdest transformers toy I have from Japan called BEASTWARS NEO is Heinrad the Tanuki with big balls and drinks sage talk about an Cybertron(aka)Autobots  who gets drunk to fight the Destrons(aka)-Decepticons.

A Zube Tube. The makes call it "The Ultimate Cosmic Sound Machine". It was basically a plastic tube with a spring in it. There was a hole in the plastic, that if you made noise into it, it would echo like mad. I think my parents may still have it.

A Barney doll that talked and a Teletubbies doll (I think it was Lala but I have to check to make sure) . Looking at pictures taken when I was a toddler, it's creepy that I was a Barney and Teletubbies fan back then.
