What is your favourite SCP from the SCP foundation website?

Gotta be SCP-682 for me, I know It's a bit generic, but I just find it so interesting

EDIT: No! wait, what was I thinking, it's gotta be 914(the clockworks), definitely... maybe 294(The coffee machine)? I dunno.

(If you don't know what I'm blathering on about, the SCP foundation is a collection of original, and not so original monsters, creatures and supernatural objects created by hundreds, if not thousands of people.)

I've only read about sixty of them but I love Abel. Abel is awesome.

Also the debating table that was upgraded to Keter status when it nearly disproved the existence (or at least, necessity) of gravity.

Has to be my favorite. It isn't a horrible monster or some portal to the 11th dimension. But man, it is the one I would love to interact with most.

"SCP-1230 is an unlabeled, green hardcover book with no initially apparent exceptional qualities. When SCP-1230 is opened, it displays the phrase “A hero is born” on the first page viewed, while all other pages will be blank (the page resets once the book is closed). This has no obvious effects at first, but upon falling asleep, the reader will dream of a fantasy world where they are the protagonist of a troubled land. Dreamers are completely aware and all senses work just as well as when awake."

It would be like lucid dreaming, but with a sapient GM there to help you out and challenge you along the way.

I also loved the one about the farmhouse with the portal leading to a dark dimension that looks exactly like the farmhouse but with those shadow things. I never remember the numbers, sorry.

Also the man who won several gambling bets against the three kids of death and now cannot die but everyone around him dies.

I feel stupid for asking this, but what does Keter and all the other SCP Types mean?

Safe - the SCP is not lethal whatsoever

Euclid - the SCP is to the point where it can harm you

Keter - the SCP will kill you if you interact with it

Well, obviously I know what safe means, I was kinda asking about the other two.

What about Super Safe?

That is not entirely true.

A safe SCP can be lethal if  you don't handle it properly.

See the Clockwork Machine for an example.

EDIT : Clockwork Machine is SCP-914

That's not entirely true. The safe classification refers to anyting that poses no threat and/or can be contained easily. It can stil be lethal, but if it isn't threatening or it can be contained easily, it's safe.

Keter refers to any scp that could be a worldwide threat, and/or is almost impossible to keep contained. These are generally very hostile or could potentially wipe out a country if it escaped.

Euclid is in between. It refers to anyting that is a small to medium scale threat, is somewha challenging to keep contained, or is currently under special research (not so sure on that, though I think research comes into it.)

Im not sure how true these are, though they're pretty accurate.

Scp-261

Not naming names but some of the stuff you can get from it is hell of funny. I'd probably get in trouble for saying half of them so if you want look up the list

Well I meant totally safe but it's still the same thing.

Scp-420-j is an obvious joke, seeing as how it's. Joint of weed. So there isn't actually a totally safe class.

Hello, I am SCP-426. I must be introduced this way in order to prevent ambiguity. I am my favorite item in the SCP facitility. I am ordinary toaster, able to toast bread when supplied with electricity. However, when any human being mentions me, they inadvertently refer to me in the first person. Despite all attempts, there is yet to be a way to speak or write about me in the third person. When in my continuous presence for over two months, individuals begin to identify themselves as a toaster. Unless forcibly restrained, these people will ultimately harm themselves in their attempts to emulate my standard functions.

My interactions with SCP-682 are especially fun to read about.
