How do you think of making fun of fictional cultures?

Sometimes I like to make fun of: the Quenya Elves' obsession with stars, the Rinnarits (in my sci-fi works) and their penchant for irony and hatred of cliches, and the Imperium of Man's over-reaction to HERESY.

What do you think of it: making fun of fictional cultures, of cultures that have never existed? Is it wrong, or is it just OK?

I don't think you offending anyone... yet.

 

But just watch out. People are selfish bastards, and especially on the internet, they wont be afraid to lash out at anyone they disagree with. Comments like "lol u a faget" and "go fuk urself". Expect those, if you make these criticisms on the internet or public domain.
