@@Blitz Boom, I finished at 3.5 pages. Would go on for the sake of detail but my desire to jump in is greater than the desire to perfect a poem I'm not publishing.

 

Typing it now. The end of the poem is set in the throne/organ/passage-way room that some ponies are in. Provided that is all one room

 

I didn't know who all to mention, so I just slapped together some ponies I thought I would run into with this introductory post.

Thanks, when I do the color version, some of the flat parts on the outside will be a little more curved and the gem will stand out a bit more. As was the plan, I will be tracing it onto tracing paper with colored pencils.

Sorry it took a while to respond. Feel into a game and just managed to crawl out of it.

 

In any case, good to see you here, and welcome to Casual Stroll. ^^ I can't see anything that would stop you from being allowed into this RP at all, though I would ask if perhaps you could give a little more info about your OC here? It is okay if you want to play it out instead if it is, I have done so myself a few times, so I can understand moulding your character that way instead of set it in stone.

 

You can look back on the page just before this to see the general intro of *pick your own path or join others?* *your timeline can be further ahead than what the groups are now*, and so forth. I wrote it better there than I can do again without copy pasting. ^^

 

Beyond general information though, I would like to ask if your OC by any chance is a Royal Guard under Celestia? I am still not completely familiar with all the armor on the royal guards of the different princesses, so just wanna be sure.

 

Also: I have a friend he can talk to if it is ready. I have a Night Guard NPC that's newly transferred to Ponyville I wrote in about... 15 pages or so ago I think. Might be something that could interest you. ^^

It's an interesting post. That I will give you. I just wonder a bit... What's going on?

 

I read through it around 10 times now, and I far as I can tell, it's all him speaking to himself whilst it all goes on. Sort of like he's a bard that sings his own ballad while wandering and doing things. I just need to be sure, cause right now, I'm a bit confused on how to approach it.

 

I won't rule out I'm just being dense though. It won't be the first time something completely went over my head without me noticing it, and it will likely not be the last one if it were.

@@Blitz Boom, That is entirely what the post is meant to be. It's called a Dramatic Monologue. I didn't know how I would go about interacting with people right out of the gate so I just set the post a few hours back, and composed a story explaining how Andante got to the organ. present moment of the RP does not start until "What lies within? / A labyrinth by Daedalus and Pan. . ."

 

I apologize if I didn't do something right, this is my first thread-based RP. Should I write a new introduction? I didn't write this in one session so there may be some reason behind the dissonant nature of the post. 

 

EDIT: I forgot to mention I used the royal we in the monologue, there is no one other than Andante and a griffon for a fleeting stanza.

It's my first time roleplaying, but I really want to get into this.
 

My OC's Midnight Frost, or just Frost, for short.

He is a unicorn with grey fur, and long purple wavy(is that a thing?) manes.

He's a bit shy, and introverted, but when he forgets that other ponies are watching he can be quite confident. He is nerdy, and likes sneaking up on people. He specializes in ice-magic.

He hasn't been living in Ponyville for long, and just moved in from Canterlot.

 

I hope this is enough information. Please excuse me for any roleplay mistakes I make...

It's good, basic information mate, all that's really needed. We can learn more as the RP goes on after all. And i do think that wavy is a think. I imagine surfer-dude hair just flowing gently in the wind whilst a small snippet of classic music plays around him. I migght have watched too much TV though.

 

Anyway, you're welcome to join here, no worries. Just gimme a sec and I'll post sme additional information here...

 

 

 

As usual, I would like to ask if you want your own setting, or something with one of the several groups we have around? The main clutter is at the old castle in the Everfree Forest, but there is also Barrel/Summer/Blitz in the forest itself, and a ton of places were we can start your own path if it is. This is, of course, just if you want to join during the night these things happen in (or in the case of barrel/Summer/Blitz, around sunrise).

This RP allows for a 24 hour stretch in front of the earliest groups to keep options open without having too many timelines, so it can be the next day for your setting if you want. ^^ If that is your want, I have some characters technically free that could speak with you there, though I am not gonna hug the spotlight. If anypony wants to interact with you, I won't object at all. Just tends to be me as I have enough characters to spare, and a handful of NPC's in the backhand if needed. :3 In any case, you can pick a setting for yourself as well as one that is connected to others, or you can also have one that eventually connects to the others. Your choice.

 

That's the gist of it. I really need to just make a neutral one these days so I don't end up simply repeating everything time and again, but eh, just woke up, so frankly it can wait.

It's done. I would have put more detail into the texture of the necklace itself, but colored pencils are rather limiting compared to regular pencils as far as detail work. Can you imagine how this would look with a wood grain texture for the necklace in the same sea green color?
