Thanks! I think I'll just slot Cyan Flare in and introduce her to Ponyville, joining a main event accordingly, but is there anything too major I should know about what's going on in Equestria? And Cyan's job will be selling fresh fruit and vegetables on the market, if that's okay.

Asking what's going on in the entirety of Equestria is a bit of a tall order. Big place. What goes on with us... Well, if you're in town as a seller, and want to start off there and go into the main plot, then currently a good chunk of town is caught by a barrier of harsh winds, and in the middle a bunch of people are getting ready to end a fight with a mystical entity known as *The Forgotten One* which is currently on the plane os spirits, so unless your OC can see dead ponies, that isn't the main focus likely. Though in case you can, of the spirits there is a spider sort of like a Nerubian from Warcraft (think that was the look anyway) an earth pony mare with a sword of ghostly flames, and a pegasus NPC controlled by Seamore. (the spider is also his) There is another one in that realm, but he is currently possessing the suit of another guy that I will come to in a sec.

 

There are also three bodies in one with the Forgotten one, who have some visual description further up this page. The forgotten one itself is who can be seen, then there is a tree spirit called Charlie (Seamore's OC) who's the host of the being, and a demon mare called Vivid who is currently possessing him too and battling for control with the thing. She's loosing for the record.

 

In the non-spirit world there is a Human in a big armour called Quinch that were tossed from his home dimension, a snake/tiger hybrid called Zhu covered somewhat in old bandages and a full body cloak (hard to explain the look, but he's covered anyway, so not important just yet. Suffice it to say he is about the size of Celestia, with a big, also covered tail behind him). Beyond that there is an earth mare NPC called Penny and another NPC who I think is a pegasus called Quill, a theatre earth pony stallion from Canterlot whose name escapes me right now (sorry Sugarfoot) and the decapitated body of Vivid, the demon mare mentioned before.

 

I think that covers things if you were going for the main event. There is a lot of subtle things for this, and conversations that have been had, but it should give you a base of things to go with if you went for this story.

 

I know it sounds confusing, so honestly, I'd suggest you go for stumbling in on things at this point with this if it were, then take it from there. Saves you some headaches in trying to wrap yourself around more than the visual part for the time being.

 

Ofc, this is just the major big thing right now. There is a few other groups in town in a sort of... Let's say alternate timeline for now. Placed somewhere before or after what is happening with the main group.

 

You can get to be part of those with little worry as time went by I'd think. Just starting to blossoming up around the place as it is.

 

And of course you can be a seller at the market. Your OC after all.

Just wanted to say that I let out some visuals in the post cause I couldn't get it to fit there, but i you check the google doc in my siggy you can find links to both Happy Hour's and Stargazer's bios, which have pictures and such that should help on things.

 

Also, Wolves? Mind me asking if you could describe a few of the things at the stall in your next post, or in the OOC? Just so I know what to have Happy focus on getting.

@@Blitz Boom Thanks! I think I'll have Cyan Flare stumble across the main event just at the end of her working day. Abd the good she sells are if a wide variation. Apples, pears, oranges, and berries; any fruit that can grow without needing to be kept in an artificial climate. As for vegetables, carrots, cabbages, potatoes - again, most things that can be grown easily. So nothing all that special (which may help explain why doesn't get too many customers...?).

Alright. Just keep in mind, for her to stumble upon things at the end of her working day, it will have to be after the things have passed with the hurricane wall and such being up right now. Considering the time of that going on is about 11:00 or so in the morning/day, it will have passed before this is over, which will give you one epic aftermath to have a look at. ^^ And who knows, perhaps the shopping area have been mucked about a bit in the process. :3 Being out of town for a bit would be the way to get this done right, so for example... Getting to the doctors and them checking her out for some hours could work? She were ill, so might be an option, and she could not know that they were going to spent that long and just figured it were a short visit to get it in the bud.

 

It will be advised though to have her get away from the main part of town for a few hours at least though then to make it logistically fit with her not being trapped, though it can also be that the barrier stops a few meters from where she and Happy are and keeps them outside. Will give some time to do a few other things whilst we wait for that to be done with which will still give you the aftermath scenario, and can be fitted to happen within the next few posts so it won't require you to get out of town in any way, shape or form.

 

It Can also be they are trapped within, but might get confusing, yet depends on you really.

 

So, what draws you in? Stumbling on the aftermath, being outside whilst it goes on (cutting her workday a little short), or being inside whilst it goes on (cutting her workday short and gives a strange sight to behold when it is? I can work with anything, just have to line the times up right for this.

Seeing as the goods she sells were grown by herself and her brother, this could get him involved too, so I might add him as a character as soon as I make an RP profile for him.

Feel free to when it is. ^^ I allow anyone here to have as many characters as they can manage, considering that I have like 20 if we include NPC's and I don't want to be a hypocrite.

 

As for the doctor thing, we can play it off well here and I'll have Happy follow her. I want to use him a bit, and considering he'd want to know of the town's structure, checking out the hospital wouldn't be a bad idea. :3

Read your post and just for the record: It's not full of bits. he haves some more near the large, tightly sealed box that's in the wagon, but that isn't the sort that can just be seen as those too are in a box (can't trust looters on the highway, you know?). And small titbit: He tends to earn more than he can use, but he sends most of towards a messenger to his hive. Bits can help even the Changelings if used right. :3

 

Just saying so that you will know that visually, his wagon is not impressive or bulging with this sort of stuff. Just a regular, run of the mill wagon like this:

 

(Found on google image search.) Just imagine it with Happy Hour's writing on the side and top instead, and the seat being more flat so he can use it to lay down on if it is. This one would open from the side (the part of the sign not covered by the wheels) and put up so he can open shop.

 

I really should have added this sooner. Gonna have to remember to put this in his bios at some point. ^^

Just so you know, most of these characters I have are OCs, not NPCs. I do still need to write more down for a few, but almost all of them have their own pages already, though Ink and Quill share a page because they are twins.

Don't worry about it. It's not like I'm upset or anything. I just want it to be clear that I intend for most of these characters to stick around. Sylar is still in the category of NPC and may even lose his life before this is all over. The Forgotten One, the Diamond Spider, the two pony spirits, the other two spiders, and the unnamed Everspirits are NPCs as well, but the rest are all OCs (aside from CCs of course). The spiders that survive may eventually become OCs, as may the Everspirits, but I have no official plans for them yet.

@Everypony I'll make a few PM's tomorrow to a few people to see if they've seen that it's their turn in the RP's. The notification system can act up at times, so might be that others like Denim or Summer haven't gotten the ping that things have been responded to. Silly error rally, but eh, that sort of thing happens. just letting you know so that you don't start to bombard the poor sods at the same time.

EDIT: Also, I'm thinking of branching off Meeko and Clara into their own little corner for a while, to further some plot elements. You all up for that?

 

Either Meeko or Clara need to go through the trapdoor and climb down the ladder. @Blitz Boom, if you want to initiate it, that's fine with me.

Minor thing mate: Seamore says they can see the barrier now. They haven't passed it yet, and the wall goes up a good way, so you're going a bit ahead of things. Minor thing, but just figured I'd clear it up. ^^

As for the thing with Meeko, she will essentially follow Lonk and Ginger. Ginger because - from his perspective - she is a nice creature and he liked getting pet. Lonk is because Clara called him out as being the Alpha.

 

Essentially, if you want to get Meeko away from these for a while, you will... Well, have to make Clara abduct the critter, or wait until they get close enough to the wind barrier so I can make him act curiously dumb and try his paw at the wind, getting slung away.

 

I can work with either. Long as they are not removed for so long that Ginger will get too lonely. :3

Unfortunately, that will have to be tomorrow. Have some stuff too prep for tomorrow and a friend is asking for some ideas for her new RP site, so my time is a bit strained unless I stay up until the sun comes out, which is a bit long in it to be honest.

 

So yeah... Sorry for the delays, but I'll see if I can make up for it by making the posts to things tomorrow smell a bit like cranberries or chocolate. I've been told that I'm mad and that it cannot be done, but gosh darn it, sooner or later it haves to work.
