I have 2 changeling OC's, so I'd be kind of a hypocrite for saying I were against 'em.

 

Haven't had one of the reformed ones though. Or well, mutated I suppose the word is, after the clip I saw. Only saw it like a week or so ago, so it's fine timing to ask about this without me being confused. :3 Also, Francis seems fine, no worries there. ^^

 

Since he is not with Chrysalis, I'd think it will be easy enough to play around with him without him getting world domination thoughts, but you never know with his new queen,whom I assume you will control as well, if brought into things. Mind me asking though, you want a special adventure with him, mingle him into one of the side adventures, or try and plunge him towards the main story? Easier to know where to put him when I have some basics to work with.

@@Blitz Boom, Yeah, he ain't gonna have world domination thoughts, that's up to his queen. But don't know if Nectar, the name of his queen, would actually do that kind of thing. I am unsure if I want to introduce Nectar at the moment, maybe later when it comes to mind again.

 

I would be willing to put him in really any of those options for story, but I guess I should chose...

 

Probably a side adventure, although not because I don't want to be part of the main story, I've just payed it so little attention to the main story that I'd have no idea where to put him in said story.

 

It may be possible to have him in a side adventure, then work him into the main story, if that option works as well. Also- totally not because Astral and Misty are there-  Maybe Canterlot as a starting point, or the Everfree forest, again.

We can go for a side adventure that can eventually lead into the main story, sure. If it's in Canterlot though, it needs to be very hush hush. Guards are unlikely to give you the time too explain if it is, so... How do you feel about your changeling hiding in the basement of whatever house we'll find for Astral and Misty? Might be he wanted to go back and get something he lost during the attack/just wanted to see the town, but something went wrong and he had to hide.

 

Another thing regarding Canterlot, can also be in regards to Scarcity. You'll learn some more things about her over the next weeks post or so, that will perhaps paint a picture of somepony to bite notice in, that could give you idea, but it doesn't have to be related in any sort of way. Just an option.

 

Everfree can work too, though I think I'd need to make up a new NPC for that one. Current OC's I have are tied down in regards to the main story one way or another, so unfortunately, I can't toss Happy Hour at this (looking forward to having him interact with more changelings eventually) but I can make something up that can work. Depends on where you want this to start really.

I feel that Canterlot may be be an interesting place for him to start especially with that idea for an entrance. In order to avoid explaining why he wasn't seen during the battle. We can both just assume he had already evacuated Ponyville during the attack. Unsure about him meeting Astral or Misty first, or both, though. Still wanting to stick with the idea of spreading out, or I could just leave that behind, for having three different OCs in one place. 

 

Canterlot's fine for a place to start with him over all, just unsure about him meeting Astral or Misty.

Hmmm... Well, if you still want Canterlot, who's to say he meets either of those first? Perhaps he could be hiding in the closed shop where Chow used to have his business, or we could place him being there a few days after Astral and the lot moved to Canterlot, and then I can have happy there, potentially meeting him. If you want some changeling interaction that is.

 

Many options really beyond this too, just need to find something to settle on. Hard to pick.

One of my OCs owns a chocolate shop in Canterlot... (although she's involved in the main story, so anything involving her can't be on the same days as the fight or the repairs the following day). If the events are before the battle, it could help me paint a picture of some of the events leading up to the fight.

I believe we reached a point where we could just end the day of the fight in Ponyville. Is there anything I'm missing from that scene? I don't want to just assume it's all over there and leave someone hanging.

I have an idea on how I want to introduce Penny, so we can start anywhere in the streets of Canterlot. If you want to start indoors with a view outside, that could work, too. He doesn't even have to be looking outside for Penny to be able to get his attention, but an open window might help. One thing first, Lloyd, does Francis have a cutie mark in his disguise or not? Your character's bio says two different things.

Well, there is a few loose ends, mainly in the forest with Happy Hour and the others, but that one goes slowly, so we'll cover things as they come along there, without changing the status quo. I think I moved everypony else on to the next day regardless, so... Yeah, should be possible to just have it as the next day being active.

 

Oh right, we have the scene in the forest, and the skyship with Denim, but the former have no further interactions with the town (nor does it when the dreamers awake and such) so that scene can move on, and the skyship... Well, I'm sure we can cover that quickly with Denim, with them haven been there to help on the first day, and awaiting to meet with Celestia the next perhaps.

 

Also, due to time restraints, I have to answer your posts tomorrow. Sorry. :/

Fyi, the thing with Misty, Chow and Astral is currently on the day of the attack. If you set it on the next day, where most of the other stories are now too, you can potentially have them meet either of them later on, if you so wish Lloyd.

Alright, this one's a little tricky. Going to say one thing about the bios first: Paragraphs mate. It helps make it a whole lot more readable.

 

Now then, onward to a few things that might be an issue, but we could perhaps get it smoothed out.

 

First off, is really that she is a commander in what I assume is Celestia's army, whilst being a changeling. Being related to one of those would be a huge obstacle, and especially after the attack by Chrysalis the trust in changelings of any kind would be small, but this can be taken care of by focusing on a single part: She's a changeling. I assume she can still change forms, so if she could be hiding that she is anything more than a pegasi/unicorn (as alicorns would likely draw the eye too) it could work fine. Plus, it'd make it so that if a combat situation arose, they'd be taken off guard by the actual magic possessed. The element of surprise can be rather helpful.

 

A second thing is that I would like to perhaps hear what the limit is of her powers, and physical prowess. Basically, I can't have anypony that can't be beat, as it'd be a Superman situation, and it just gets tedious that way. So what might be? If she rather slow in it when she fights, or have a tendency to simply miss/be more wild fire than control? Perhaps her powers are drained quickly as she uses them, and she have to recharge from eating love, which would provide her with the dilemma of restricting herself before she goes too far, as otherwise she'd have to drain a lot from others, and have her cover blown. Something else entirely perhaps? I'm open for suggestions.

 

If we can start addressing those things, I think we can get started on something, but it really is things that we need to get sorted. We can take things from there afterwards.

Oh I remember that~! Void and Briar had some good conversations from what I remember, some sort of familiarity in differences, given that they were both outside the norm when it came to the type of ponies around. One being a changeling, and the other a plant-pony.

I can't see that happening at least, which is why I suggested her being hidden as a simple unicorn/earth pony/pegasi. You need to address this part most of all, or we can't move along.

 

As for the second thing, that she can't hurt or kill anything sounds... Strange. Why have her as anything resembling an alicorn then, unless you got for high durability? But that ones addressed somewhat so we can take that as it comes along. Still really need some answer on the first one though.

she can be hidden  as a unicorn but i am secretly a changeling princess or some thing  and a  my

 

 weakness it is when my wings get cut or my horn i lose all my power

 

and i don´t need to be a commander i can gust be a singing and acting changeling in disguise though if you want

@@Blitz Boom, Oh, it's fine if I have to put it on the next day, though, wouldn't that cause a permanent delay? Where he's always a day ahead of Misty and Astral? Just pointing that out.

 

As the opportunity to meet Astral and Misty first before anypony else, approaches, I'm starting to consider them to start, and for @@Seamore Sandwich, I'll work my way towards you, somehow...

I think I can make things work to have Penny in Canterlot in the afternoon the day after the fight with the demon, but she's already part of the story for the next morning in Ponyville. Also, don't worry about setting anything up for me to join in, I can make my introduction work regardless of how your part of the story goes (aside from teleporting out of Canterlot altogether, or something improbable like that).
