When I think of it, I don't really care if people choose to wear a fedora/trilby in their everyday life. But in my opinion, doesn't seem like the best choice.

I like fedoras and trilby before it was trendy. Some can pull it off and some don't. But I don't go about discourage those who like to wear them.
