I got a friend, on here in fact (though he doesn't really post anymore, just hangs around to talk to friends and the like), who is 32. Great guy, absolutely ADORES Rainbow Dash, sent me a 3DS XL when mine broke, all around wonderful guy and friend. Is like a father to me, despite that meaning he would have been, like, 14 when I was born. So no, not really. I mean sure they CAN be creepy, but so can younger fans as well. All depends on how they act, you know?

I've known a few 20-ish bronies who act creepy, and will remain nameless. I've even been accused (elsewhere) of being a pedo, by people who knew *nothing* about me. They simply judge me by my age, I usually ignore them and let them wallow in their foolish ignorance.

Love your Fluttershy sig!

Even some of those "creepy" bronies that people talk to don't seem all that bad, they just have... Quirks. I have met only a few truly terrible bronies, and they were less "creepy" and more "over-zealous" imo.

Thank you! A friend of mine refitted the original (which I cannot find to show you, sorry) and added the little text at the end, so adorable

Thank you Pinkamena-Pills for resizing the original, and putting that little message at the end

Age hasn't anything to do with anything. It's just a number that counts how long we've existed on earth. I don't even like that number in general, I don't want to know how much older I'm gonna get, haha! I'm fine with being a "kid", can I go to Neverland now?  :muffins:

Jokes aside, I don't consider getting older a bad thing either, however. We all age and I don't see anything wrong with that. If any of us youngsters gets older still admiring the show, does that really make any difference from when we watched it as we were a bit younger??

It's nothing about the age, but about the person. Many people are misunderstood by their first appearance and their act.. I believe that personalities exists to be understood. Trying to understand one another is important, but there are some people out there who appear as "creepy" or "mental". I guess those are to avoid if you may, but as I've mentioned several times already, that has nothing to do with the age of a person. It's more about their mental states...

Wrapping this up, I personally don't care about their age, as long as I can get along with them and as long as they don't cross any obvious limits.

No.

If you're older than me or younger and not a creeper I won't be creeped out.

I knew this brony who was only a couple years younger than me and he sent me creeper vibes. I would literally avoid him at all costs. Age has nothing to do with being a creep. If you act like a creep, you're a creep.

For me, its not a question of age but character/personality which would determine if someone is creepy.

not at all...I mean, who cares?

if someone's acting creepy about it, it's because they ARE creepy...age has nothing to do with it...there's some creepy 10 year olds in this world, as well as creepy

20, 30, 60, and 90 year olds!

It's age discrimination if you think they're all like that...

everyone ages, and one day we'll all be of an old age...it'll be our decision to become old creepers or not.

I personally love the elders in my life, just as I do the young, and relative aged. Shoot, my Dad's getting into the show! And I think it's great!

So no...older bronies don't creep me out, older creepers creep me out. Just as the young ones do as well...

No, for three reasons:

1)One of my closer RL friends like 43(not a brony, but can still be pretty nerdy and is a teacher)

2)It'd be hypocritical because I'm going to be that old someday and unless and I experience a drastic personality shift I'll probably still like a lot of the same things I do now considering I'm already 22.

3)Furries started in the 80s and there's still first-wavers that were my age when it began active in that fandom and I imagine some of us that have been in this from early on will do the same here much like many people that watched Star Trek as a kid are still Trekkies to this day.

Many bronies I've met through my life in this fandom were and are either in their late teens or their early twenties and on, so I'm used to it. None of them creeped me out, and I actually felt honored to be among people that are at least three years older than me. I felt.. Protected. Of course, I've seen some weird-looking adults at meetups and I've met a married couple; but it's more cool than creepy to me that someone is so old and yet able to have taste like that. If I were crept out by someone, then it would be because of their actions.

Age is insignificant bit rather the behavior, appearance, demeanor of a person is how i base my opinion on bronies and people in general.

Not at all! As a matter of fact, I tend to respect older bronies a lot more as they're not afraid to admit to like MLP:FiM.

As everyone else said, age has no limit. You shouldn't tell others what they like based on their age. If a 40 year old man likes MLP:FiM, then that makes him a fan, like every other brony.

You shouldn't assume that all older bronies are creepy just because of one person you met. Most of the older bronies I met are really great people. :P

Age does not matter at all, older bronies are fine in all matters :)

though you get the odd ones (as you get= everywhere)

I can respect older bronies in all ways and I cannot say just being older (creeps me out)

I see them no different than a 20 under brony.

Nah, not really, well to be honest, if it's a 40 year old dude that lives in their old mothers basement then that is always a possibility that it may be a bit...odd, but as long as they aren't hurting nothing then I am fine with it, in other rods, live and let live! ^_^

Yay for these responses! I found this thread had a surprising amount of dread for me just sitting there before I opened it. I appreciate the open minded or logical approach many have communicated here.

That is all I'm going to say. :P

I don't think it's sensible otherwise, really. I'm pretty sure if this was open to debate to outside the fandom many would say they're freaking out out of pure spite but i don't feel that's the case here, you know?

That might be a lot of us in the coming years(minus the basement and mooching parts) with the way the economy is going to shit XD.

The amount of people that never get a chance to move away from home(or had to move back when it all went to hell) is already sky-rocketing to the point that stereotype is almost discredited.
