Hello, friends! I saw that some other ponies were making threads like these, so I thought it would be suitable if I made my own! Before we begin, here's some ground rules that I'd like to make:

 

1. I won't answer every question directed to me. I will do the best I can, but some questions may be too personal, or I may not know the answer to them. Sorry about that.
2. I would prefer it if you were polite when you ask me. Any derogatory questions are likely to be ignored. Let's all be civil ponies here.
3. Make sure you read through the entire thread before asking your question; there may be a chance I've answered it already! I don't mind repeat questions, but it might take away from the time I have to answer newer ones.
4. Follow up questions are fine, so long as I know what you're talking about.
5. If you see anyone else going by the name 'Twilight Sparkle', they may be me or they may be someone pretending to be me. Please don't flag them down; we're all here to have fun, right?

How are you and Spike?

 

If you mean how have we been getting along, I would think we've been doing splendidly! I'm still growing used to my new role, but Spike is the same as he ever was - although sometimes he bows in my presence. It kind of bothers me, actually, but every time I give him a reminder he forgets... I've given up at this point...

 

Have you gone back to the library at the Castle of the Two Sisters? I can't imagine you would leave so many books behind...

 

I have paid it a visit every now and again, although the books there don't belong to me and I don't take them outside of the library. Yes, there is no one staffing the place, but that doesn't mean that I get to stake claim on the property. That being said, I do like to read through the journals scattered about there. I'm a bit busy organizing my library in my new castle, so I haven't gone out to those books lately, though.

Whoa, whoa! Haha! I-I don't even know enough about being a princess to teach a student, let alone take one in indefinitely! I haven't considered it, no, and hopefully I don't have to any time soon...

 

Also, as for the second question, I don't know if I could choose! I love so many different types of books! I think if I absolutely had to, I would pick educational books, specifically those focused on magic - the 'how-to-do-its', instructionals. I tend to learn the most from those.

In the Equestria Girls world, is it the alter world where you can or can't meet your alter self?

Forget the episode, but in season 4 it shows you tutoring the CMCs.  Does that count as "having a student"?  Also, I'm trying to put the episodes in chronological order.  In "Suite and Elite", Fancy Pants' garden party was on your birthday.  Knowing when your birthday is would obviously be a big help.

... If you're asking whether or not I can meet my alternative self, well, I suppose I could... But it's not a theory I'm going out of my way to test. I've read way too many a book and watched way too many a sitcom that entailed paradoxes, and it's not a can of worms that I'm about to open! Still, it makes for a good thought project - I might spend some time theorizing on this one.

Well, technically speaking, yes, I suppose you could say that! They are my 'students' in that they are learning from me, though I think the term tutor is more applicable as opposed to, say, teacher or somepony of higher status. In any case, it's not completely analogous to what I have with Princess Celestia, as I am essentially, as it were, following in her hoofsteps, whereas the Cutie Mark Crusaders are likely to not be. Also, I'm not teaching them anything about what I have to go through and, rather, guiding them in their own pursuits. I don't yet know of how confidential the information that a princess should learn is, nor entirely what the title itself means, so in any case I'm not taking in a student of that nature.

 

As for my birthday... That's around the middle of spring, if that helps? I'd rather not draw too much attention to the specific date.

Oh, Twilight Time still happens, just not as frequently as before. The Cutie Mark Crusaders have, more or less, accomplished the goals that they wanted to and all I tend to offer them is moral support.

 

As for whether or not I'm taking in anypony else - it's dependent on whether or not you want to learn. I'm always happy to help any potential pupils! But I would rather not be an icon for your status. If you wish to approach me with an earnest desire to seek out knowledge, then feel free and perhaps we can work something out!

Oh, I would never call Fluttershy a 'wimp'. She used to be painfully shy, but recently she's been making leaps and bounds to overcome that, to the point that holding conversations isn't so hard for her as it used to be. I have to say that I couldn't be prouder.

I'm answering as many of them as I can! As I stated in the first post, though, I may not answer all questions, but that will be strictly on a case-to-case basis rather than being overwhelmed by them. Sometimes some questions are just outside of my realm of answering, and there isn't any point to straining myself to get to it.

We have separate rooms! I think Spike can handle himself in his own room - and if he can't, well, I'm not opposed to him coming in at night, as long as he's quiet about it.

There's no real reason behind it, and no amount of reassurances that snakes are safe is going to make it go away. The treatment for phobias is exposure, but I'm not exactly eager to go out searching for snakes anytime soon.
