Envy 6,162 December 4, 2014 Share December 4, 2014 Hm... How about a palace like the Palace of Versailles? Okay, so maybe that's a little over-the-top... And I wouldn't really like having a house that big. But in reality I would adore a house that somehow adapts that gorgeous 17th century European style. Everything needs more woodwind! Neutral 1,185 December 4, 2014 Share December 4, 2014 Mine would be a small house in the forest with a big wall that has machine guns mounted on the wall all around 2 floors and basement. Back garden. Oh and also a garage to fit a tank and a car. Ground floor has a kitchen, front room with a TV, a dining room and a door to the back garden. 2nd floor has a bedroom, king size bed, bathroom with a bath and shower, collection room for my militaria collection and a gun room for guns with room for ammunition as well Basement has emergency supplies for when things go wrong. A lift to the garage. More guns and ammunition if needed. Nit Pick 247 December 4, 2014 Share December 4, 2014 I would want the basic 21st century home but on acres upon acres of grass with no neighbors and a living room with the perfect setup of all the games and consoles that I want. Of course... all that could have been possible if I bought Google stock when I had the chance to afford it. 1 Nit Pick's ask blog!
Shanks 10,816 December 5, 2014 Share December 5, 2014 I like it here in San Diego so I don't think I would move but aside from that my dream house wouldn't be anything too extravagent. It would be large enough to host family functions such as holidays. A room for my video games, my bedroom, decent size kitchen, maybe a room for my keyboard (the music kind) and maybe 2 guest rooms or so. A mid sized pool and spa and that is pretty much what I can think of right now. I don't need a mc mansion but an upgrade from what I have now would be nice. 1 Rarity Get's Cockroaches
Dark Horse 12,961 December 5, 2014 Share December 5, 2014 (edited) Dream house? Why, I'm already living in it! Well, okay, maybe not.. But there's so many things I think I'd like out of a home that I've honestly no idea what kind of place I'd want.. If I had to choose based on location though, I'd go for something remote and peaceful, like a lodge, that you can just sit out on the lawn (or giant field!) and watch the clouds go by... Bliss! Ireland is a nice place though, for what it gives you. A generally more laid back and slower pace of living. Its a bit more backwater then most places, specific things can be hard to come by outside of the capital, there's a bit of a drinking issue, but on the whole if your looking for a nice retreat I think it's got what you need, especially out in its more rural country areas. Milky Jade 138 December 5, 2014 Share December 5, 2014 As much as I'm a fort and mansion enthusiast, I cannot suspend screed heating and galaxy granite tiles, and waxed parquet for sock sliding. Basically, everything should be quaint and familiar. And animal friendly, and secure. Which means I probably have to move the claymores somewhere out of reach. Lisa 5,553 December 6, 2014 Share December 6, 2014 A mansion on the beach somewhere here in Australia, preferably Sunshine Coast. If I could literally walk out the door and start surfing - that'd be great.

SCS 7,537 December 7, 2014 Share December 7, 2014 My dream home would be hella ballin. I would have a grand ass foyer with lots of fancy decorations leading to a lavish home filled with comfortable furniture and amenities. It wouldn't have to be super big, though. If it's too big you have to walk a lot and that's too much work. Oh, and I'd have a death metal room. The sole purpose of it would be to blast death metal into my eardrums as loudly as possible. I'd set up massive speakers on all four walls and just have some synchronized surround sound shit going on. I might set up a disco ball and a bunch of mirrors or something so I feel like I'm in an alternate dimension while rocking out to some hefty jams. Last, but not least, I'd have a massive pool in the backyard with diving boards and everything. That'd be pretty fun. But yeah, that's my materialistic dream home at least. Money can't buy happiness, so whether or not I'd ever be able to get anything like that doesn't matter a whole lot to me in the long-run. It'd be fun as hell though. On a non-materialistic note my dream home would be a home shared with someone I loved, whether it was family, friends, a girlfriend, wife, whatever. To me, a home just isn't a home unless you can share it with someone. In terms of geographical location, I'd love to live in Hawaii or somewhere that rained constantly. I love rain. However, I also love snow, and I don't know if it snows in Hawaii, so yeah. Choices.

~Chaos~ 3,967 December 11, 2014 Share December 11, 2014 The house doesn't have to be huge, I don't need that, but I'd want a nice big property to build things on.
Callisto 1,877 December 12, 2014 Share December 12, 2014 I want a nicely sized home; not too big, but not cramped, either. Something humble and modest. I'd like to live somewhere up North, like Canada. I don't wanna be in the middle of nowhere, but I certainly wouldn't like a big city: a nice, small town would be ideal. 1 Y'know, I've been on this site for almost ten years and I've never had a proper signature. Creamy Arty 6,252 December 14, 2014 Share December 14, 2014 Something just big enough for me and what I currently own. I'm not vain, nor do I want more house to care for than I have time or means to do so. Two bedrooms, one large enough for my bed, dresser, and computer, and one to hold my retro gaming stuff and bookshelves are enough. One bathroom, a living room large enough for my couch, recliner, end table, and a floor lamp, and a kitchen large enough for a table. Reasonable expectations for a house with only one or two occupants, I would say. Put all of that together in a log house and I would be the happiest man in the world, but I'll take it in any format. As for the surrounding area, all I ask is sufficient room to park my car, quiet or no neighbors, internet availability comparable to what I have now, and without a road running right in front of my place for traffic noise to disturb me. Zekromic 1,054 December 14, 2014 Share December 14, 2014 I would love a semi-rural settlement where I'm surrounded by mountains and rivers, but also close enough of civilization where I can get access of internet, tv, malls, movie theaters, etc. And people who mind their own business, and the crime rate is low enough to walk around without feeling a constant paranoia

Hyperhooves 872 December 15, 2014 Share December 15, 2014 I would like to live somewhere someplace where there is a lot of room. So I wouldn't feel as trapped as I do now where I'm currently at. TimeyMarey007 110 December 15, 2014 Share December 15, 2014 (edited) ... In my Aston Martin when I buy one. Just kidding. Honestly, I'd pick any place, any house yes, but I would like it to look quite futuristic. Otherwise, any house would be good enough for me. Except shanty metal ones (nope, no tin platings for my house) and French mansions. (French mansions look boring to me) Edited December 15, 2014 by TimeyMarey007 Also check out my OC vectors! omg this is some outdated stuff
DormantAccount 308 December 15, 2014 Share December 15, 2014 I think my dream home would be a subterranean one, somewhat like the hobbit homes. It's secure with very few ways to break in. It requires less air conditioning and it is more resistant to tornadoes. One of the thoughts I had as to the entrance would be to instead of having a big door, you have a model of the TARDIS just in the middle of the field and that is how a person would get in and out.

SasQ 1,376 December 15, 2014 Share December 15, 2014 (edited) My dream home is this: (source: Minibot-1 @ DeviantArt) Oooh how much I wish I could live there... But limiting to my country, I always wanted to live in Ojców, Poland. It is a place located in the middle of Jurassic rocks made of limestone, with calm forests growing on them, and beautiful caves. Some photos: If you think those are some wallpaper images, I assure you: It really looks like that. (And true, some of them would make a nice wallpaper ;-J )As to the house, it could be anything. I don't need anything big or expensive. A cottage would suffice (actually, the closer to the Mother Nature, the better for me). With one exception: I need Internet access there Something like this,But it must have a statue of Applejack/Rainbow dash/Fluttershy infront of the mansion Why not going va banque and having the statue of the entire Mane Six? Silver Letter 1,832 December 15, 2014 Share December 15, 2014 A nice little place settled someplace peaceful. If out in a rural type setting, then something akin to Fluttershy's cottage with lots of places to store books and food and such. If in a city, then I would like to live in a place like Tokyo. That's definitely a dream place since the city life there is so fun and interesting. It would be a small home like nearly everyone else has of course. 1 Silver Letter!!!
