Some of my favorite orchestral compositions are from video games.

 

My absolute favorite has to be from my favorite video game ever, Shadow of the Colossus.
Here, have these, my favorites:

They are indeed very similar, but I just love them so much 8D

I also like other compositions from other games like Super Mario Galaxy and some from Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions.

Never played that game before, but the soundtrack in that sounds good.

 

 

You sir, have fantastic taste with "1812 Overture", me and a group of friends use that as our theme when we play space sims together. lol

I enjoy Antonin Dvorak's 9th symphony. 

 

 

One of my favorites would probably be "Jupiter the Bringer of Jollity" by Gustav Holst 

 

Beautiful, love hearing everybody's taste in such music and that people still enjoy this type of music. A lot of people never really notice how much this type of music affects us and other media such as what it elicits if used in other media, such as me hearing "The Blue Danube Waltz" the first time in the movie "2001: A Space Oddysey". That piece just made that scene very memorable and one of my favorite scenes in any movie.

My favorite piece would be The Ecstasy of Gold by Sergio Leone. It was part of the amazing soundtrack for the film The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Just amazing

My favorite piece of music EVER would be Stravinsky's "Le Sacre du Printemps;" aka "The Rite of Spring."

Also, this is probably what people played while trolling back in the old days.

Omg that list bit is great :lol:

 

Can never go wrong with classical music, everyone has such fine taste here, discovering some new compositions here too.
