movies/tv DVD, Blu-Ray or Digital?

I personally prefer either Blu-Ray or Digital, I own a lot of DVDs but since I've started buying Blu-Ray I don't even touch them other than my anime boxsets.

I honestly have no preference at this point as I can appreciate all three.

However if I HAD to pick between then I'd likely go with Blu-Ray as it offers the better quality over DVD and I can hold it in my hand. I have to be honest; holding a season back of Game of Thrones feels pretty sweet. XD

I've always loved just DVD but my fiance got me hooked on Blu-Ray.

I don't watch movies enough to warrant getting online subscriptions like Netflix.

But the couple movies I do want to watch, I'll buy them on Blu-Ray if possible.

I don't even own a blu ray player, but I figured I will eventually.

I've been getting lucky tho. The couple blu-rays I've bought come with a DVD version, so it's all good.

I prefer Laserdisc. As for the others - digital is good if I can get it for free (record digital TV etc), but I do not like paying for files. If I decide to pay for the movie and a good (not Pan&Scan) laserdisc release is not available, then I prefer Bluray over DVD.

I prefer dvd overall. Bluray is fine but has more problems than regular dvd without any noticeable increase in quality. Streaming is okay for binge-watching series because it would be too expensive to keep up with buying entire series’ on disc. So, while I can deal with all three on their own merits (and despite their individual drawbacks) I’ll pick dvd.

I buy movies on dvds and Blu-rays. 3years ago I bought an external Blu-ray drive. Lots of stuff that I want to watch isn't sadly available on streaming.

I mostly watch movies and shows digitally now. If I bought one, I would buy a DVD, as I don't have a Blu-ray player (the only Blu-ray I have is the MLP movie, as it came with the DVD). I never felt the upgrade was worth it, as most of my DVDs are old cartoons where the quality wouldn't increase that much anyway, and more of the stuff I wanted was on DVD.

I prefer Blu-ray whenever available, DVD if that's the best physical format the title is available on. The only time I purchase a digital movie or TV show is if it's the only available way of obtaining it (for example: MLP:FIM seasons 8-9, MLP: The Best Gift Ever, and certain Classic Disney TV shows not available on DVD) or if the Blu-ray is out of print and expensive on the secondary market.
