If you'd watched the hearth's warming eve episode I'M SURE you've heard of chancellor puddinghead. So in the paegent Pinkie played as her. BUT....I think the REAL chancellor would've been a Bit more mature than what PINKIE turned out to be. DISCUSS.

I wouldn't think so. However, who knows? We don't know much about Chancellor Puddinghead until that episode. and with a name like that i would assume that she would act nearly the same as pinkie. Crazy, and hyped on sugar and sweets.

I doubt the real Chancellor was. He/she was probably a little bit of a dunce, hence the name, but I doubt on the level of how Pinkie portrayed him/her. I think I've heard the theory that the portrayals of the leaders in every performance of the Hearth's Warming Eve pageant are tailored to the actors who are playing them, but everything is just blind speculation as no others have been seen.

The Chancellor title suggests someone had to have picked him/her. I haven't seen a leader as nutty as Pinkie Pie's Chancellor since Mayor Adam West from Family Guy, but I doubt the Earth Ponies were ever as collectively dumb as the townspeople of Quahog.

We'll never know for sure as neither the actual characters, nor any other actors' portrayal of the characters were ever shown.

Another question raised to me by the same token is the gender of Commander Hurricane. The character is referred to as both "sir" and "she" in the same context, so I assume the part is written for both genders. As for the actual historical character...again, we'll most likely never know. By extension this also applies to Chancellor Puddinghead.

I hate Family Guy, by the way. :okiedokielokie:

The whole thing really struck me as a watered down rendition of what likely happened, you know like an elementary school play or something. With that in mind though it would still be hard to say, Chancellor Puddinghead could very well have been even worse than what Pinkie Pie portrayed for all we know. One truth of this episode is that politicians are not beyond being petty, short sighted and immature, even Americas founding fathers weren't entirely above that as the election between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson has shown us and as depicted in this youtube video.

i think chancellor Puddinghead must have been much more serious than pinkie portrait her to be considering that people must have taken her seriously if she were to come into power

This is definitely on my top 10 list of MLP mysteries. I'm going to say probably, because politicians aren't usually like that, and there can only be one Pinkie Pie, unless Chancellor Puddinghead was actually an ancestor of Pinkie's, but that's highly doubtful. A better question is whether the real Chancellor Puddinghead was able to think in a chimney. :P

Like many legends, it could be that Puddinghead never existed at all and was created to represent the Earth Ponies as a whole in a similar manner to the exaggerated personalities of the other two leaders.

According to Journal of 2 Sisters written by Amy Keating Rogers, all 3 Leaders along with their helpers did exist
