My favorite uniform is the ww2 wehrmacht dress uniform they wear on parade.

I'm not an expert on military uniforms, but I've seen the Australian Navy ceremonial officer uniform and I think it looks nice. ;p

1. Paratrooper uniform from the WWII era. You just can't get a better lookin uniform then that of the Airborne boys.

 

2. USMC field uniform. WWII era.

I would say the Varangian Guard's uniform, but nobody have found conclusive evidence of weather it really existed or not. Still, lamellar is some fine looking armor.

 

Otherwise I'm in all for the Romans, particularly the Centurions.

Most all Russian camouflage uniforms look great to me. I like MARPAT, CADPAT, and even though it's not necessarily a uniform...I love Kryptek. Older uniforms in question, I like old Napoleonic French uniforms, and British "Redcoat" uniforms. They are elegant, in a way, not practical, but elegant. I love the uniforms of the British, Canadians, and Germans in World War 1 and 2. As far as fiction goes, I love the Power Armor uniforms of the Brotherhood of Steel from the Fallout series.

As far as America goes, I like the formal Marine uniform. The one that's blue with stripes of red.

I just had to brohoof that. 

 

Sadly, there is nothing "uniform" about that, otherwise I would have said the same thing. Samurai from different provinces, families, and different periods of time each had unique armor designs. That one in particular is closer to your average style of samurai armor, but there are many more different styles then that. Most notable are all the unique kinds of samurai helmets.

Anyway: Spetsnaz Group Alpha (FSB, Federal Security Service of Russia).

I'm putting together a Milsim kit of this as well, got myself a SSO Smersh, K6-3 Helmet, (both in the mail) and a partizan camo uniform.

The common/basic modern-day uniform used by the US Navy is pretty awesome.
