web Mr. Enter's YouTube Channel recently got terminated :(

By Fair Use law, companies can't do that. Critical channels are protected under Fair Use law, and there's legal precedent to back it up. He was making legal use of materials, and even if companies don't like what he says, what they're doing is censorship, plain and simple. And, by law, Mr. Enter could and would win a court case over it.

Whether you like Mr. Enter's videos or not, there is one thing we must all remember about this news:  Viacom did not do this to protect their property, which is what copyright law is supposed to be used for.  Instead, they did it out of their own pure childish tantrum over someone daring to say something bad about their shows.  Mr. Enter's reviews were perfectly under fair use and Viacom is aware of it.  They just don't want anyone with any semblance of popularity saying bad things about any of their shows, even if said shows deserve it. They may not be able to get at the big, professional critics, but they can easily crush a mere YouTube channel with a reasonable following.  So beware, my friends who might try to review anything associated with Viacom:  Viacom despises free speech and will stop at nothing to destroy you if you say anything negative about their shows and it gets attention.

Sorry about the little rant. I'm tired of seeing comments on YouTube of people saying they're "happy" Mr. Enter's channel was taken down because they personally didn't like his reviews.  Apparently someone deserves to have their rights violated if they make content you don't enjoy.

I've found an excellent article citing multiple quotes from Fair Use laws explaining what is and isn't acceptable, and what would and would not have good enough case in court.

Honestly, it's shocking how Viacom and FOX get away with it.

Mr. Enter is back, his channel is back on YouTube, I just came back from YouTube and saw his review of a Problem Solverz episode, I am glad to see and hear him again, it reminds me of Dr. Wolf when his channel was restored, it is a victorious triumph for the brony analyst group and the fandom, I hope to see more of his reviews in the future, all I can say now, is welcome back Mr. Enter.

Now, I'm almost 100 percent (99.99999999999999999?) certain that we've all seen this and I know I have but, on every video I've ever seen on Youtube there's always that percentage who downvote it no matter how great or inspiring or awesome that video is. Would you believe I saw downvotes on a video of a guy who had no legs but successfully climbed Mount Everest, anyway? Yikes!

Who downvotes these things?!

My imagination, being what it is, (and, yes, it can be a scary place at times), I imagine that there's this secret organization of Grinches who, hating *EVERYTHING*, take it upon themselves to down vote everything in the universe but especially if they really really hate it!

As one poster noted the Youtube reporting system is definitely broken. That system just makes it far too easy for nasty trollish creatures to slip out from their swamps and trash heaps and wreak havoc on the unwary, innocent victim.

How to fix it, though? Sheesh! Is there a way to fix it? There has to be.

In the mean time I always suggest to anyone having problems with broken Youtube or those nasty, Grinch-like entities at Viacom or other Dark Forces of Media that they always put a little blurb from "title 17 copyright law":http://www.copyright.gov/title17/ For Educational Purposes Only on their vids so they have at least a minimum of protection from those media outlets that would flip out over the use of anything (like Viacom likes to do.)
