This is Midnight 'it' is a 'Fiery Undead Vampire Unicorn', created as the villain in a story I'm working on. Abandoned project.

Yeah I know, I couldn't go with Alicorn, since they are 'nice'. So this should be the equivalent in power measure.

This looks pretty amazing! ^o^ I love the flame effects you've drawn; I always found flames kinda hard to sketch, but they've got a nice look to them here =)

I'm reminded of the undead horse Arvak from Skyrim, I've been playing way too much of that recently..

But this looks pretty awesome, some great detail on the armor especially. Really like the idea and hope to see more of where you take it. Any idea's for the colours yet?

Yeah I figured that I should celebrate by doing some artwork around 'it'.

2 years - 9 kills each week (different chars)

around 75 weeks. 0.5% drop chance.

 

When it dropped, I said to myself "Well, that's that, what will i do now)

Don't get me started on the Warglaives / ashes of Alar / Thunderfury

Oh man I haven't played WoW in forever, but Thunderfury has always been my favorite weapon from its looks. I never managed to get it though, the only legendary I got is the Bow of Quel'Thalas that I got on the first try, but it was in Cataclysm. Ashes of Alar would be sooo badass too.

So I guess the sketch is done now, at least so that I can start to vector it.

There are some errors in the pose which I'll fix in the vector. FiXED!

I have just started writing, the mind-map is completed.

It might take a while for me to finish it. I have a tendency to 'follow the rabbit' when I write, which make me stray away from the original concept.

Almost ready for shading now.  

And that means: 

"If there be a person present who objects to this painting, set forth your objections now, or forever hold your peace"

So added the shading, but I still think I need to experiment a little more.
