And I agree with @Zoraxe, Rainbow Dash should try other books and not only Daring Do. An episode about her reading another author could be interesting. And it would introduce a new character. Mabye say pinkie pie found out and Rd told her not to tell and the whole "stick a cupcake in my eye" thing and the rest of the 6 found out. I'd like to see her reading something a little more sophisticated too, just to show that she's coming out of her shell and growing a little, and I do think epic poems would be a good fit for her. All about heroes, courage, good, evil, I think she'd eat them up if she could work her way through the language. Wouldn't need to be an episode, just because it'd be a Read it and Weep rehash. I only have 5 friends that I'm really close with, and friendship's damn important to me. But I agree that it would be neat to see Rainbow reading another series, particularly something unexpected. Her love of the musical in Manehattan tickled me to death. I'd love to see something like that with books. Even an easter egg type thing would be cool. Then again, she probably doesn't read very often. Maybe she does just read that one series and allocates the rest of her time to her more athletic pursuits. I would believe it. The point is that she's not going to try any other books unless she runs of out of Daring Do ones, gets tired of the existing ones, and has absolutely nothing else to do. To me, this implies some friendship + Z has helped her when she could. As to Dash, perhaps biographies of great flyers or a technical book to try & help Scootaloo? I agree, it seems like she would be a fan of comic books (at least the action/adventure ones).
