All right, for Valentine's Day this year, we will be discussing childhood ships. Any two characters you shipped when you were a kid? Share them here.

 

For me, in terms of the Pokemon anime, I shipped Meowth with that one Snubbul that followed Team Rocket and kept biting his tail. I thought it was a sign of love.   

Also, Hamtaro x Bijou from Hamtaro. It was your typical, girl likes guy but guy is oblivious, but still cute nonetheless.

I started shipping with the Harry Potter series. I shipped Ron x Hermione because it was obvious they were going to get together. I also shipped Harry x Ginny (which turned out to become canon) and Dean Thomas x Seamus Finnigan (we don't know who they ended up with so it is possible)

My first hard core ship was Sora x Riku, before then it was just sort of pseudo shipping

I've never shipped cartoon characters during my childhood. But if I could right now, it would be Arthur Read and Francine Frensky from Arthur. Why? Because through the ups and downs and the fights they've had, they remained close to each other. Also, I remember the end of the episode "Locked in the Library" where Arthur thought Francine was in trouble because he heard screaming and then after Arthur responded to Francine saying "Why are you worried? I'm just a marshmallow after all." by saying that she called him four eyes after getting glasses, Francine said "Wait? You were worried about me?" and then made up for it by offering Arthur a pizza. It was a heartwarming moment because it is nice to see the opposite genders getting along together even after fighting.

Why, Ash Ketchum x Misty, of course! I was also big into the Sonic fandom. I was utterly obsessed with Shadow x Rouge. And Shadow x Amy. Anything with Shadow.

Nowadays I think Shadow is an overrated emo twat.
