Let say i gave you 20M$ and you can hire anyone you want, and i want you to make a cartoon with cute animals like MLP and make it so it become more popular, what animal will you pick to be the stars of the show, NO PONIES, they are copyrighted.

I'd make several kingdoms and queendoms, each mostly consisting of a different race, and each with alliiances and enmity with the other monarchies.

 

For example, the Kitten Kingdom would be at war with the Dog Empire, but allies with the Bunny Brigade :3

Does people turning into animals count, like were-animals? Would it be an issue if the show were anthro?

 

I'd probably do something along the lines of people turning into various tribes of wereanimals, ala White-Wolf games "World of Darkness" universe.  Or even better,  have humans and anthromorphs, but also have a minority who secretly transform into both sides, experiencing life on the majority human side, or the superior anthro side. 

 

 

If I had to pick a specific group of animals to be the focus, it would be Canids. Foxes, Wolves & Coyotes. 

 

  

 

 

 

Have it be a very analytic, intellectual & philosophical series. How would humankind have been formed differently if they lived amongst anthropomorphic animals over the past 3000 years. Where would coexistence have been most successful and where would racial tensions have been most fervent? Would cultures would have been most accepting or hostile?

 

What would the world be like if the anthro beings of human mediums, from myths like Egyptian Gods & Greek creatures, to the iconic animals of Disney, Warner Bros & MGM cartoons, to the grittier, edgier anthro shows like Swat Kats, Road Rovers, & TNMT or video games like Sonic, Sly Cooper & Star Fox, were all just actors playing parts?

 

How would the world be today, billions of humans coexisting with millions of anthropomorphic creatures who are stronger, faster, tougher, & maybe even smarter than they are. A look at the lives of those creatures living amongst humans out in the open, and maybe a look at beings who can shift into both sides and reap the rewards, would be quite a unique take. 

 

A deep concept, and something that won't be for little kids. If i had to hire people for it, I'd pick J.Michael Straczynski, the writer of critically acclaimed Sci-Fi series Babylon 5 and the guy who penned the original screenplay for World War Z, before it was taken through the shredder and turned into a total generic mess starring Brad Pitt. His works take a look at the interplay between society, spirituality & religion, government & politics, philosophy, the melding of different cultures, their dreams & their fears, as well as a well balanced layout of complex characters and covering of plot holes. He'd be great for this.

 

To aid further in this, I'd throw in Gene Roddenberry Jr. He grasps the concepts his father brought into star trek for character complexity and bringing a sense of humanity to the screen. Not sure exactly which studio I'd get. Maybe Studio Madhouse or something. Definitely an anime. American animation isn't as visually appealing unless I got the same people who did Avatar, the DC animated universe or the people who did X-Men Evolution or Wolverine & The X-Men.  

 

As far as voice cast? Well the series will shift focus on it's characters, so no specific group. Probably everybody under the sun. Probably get the same group that did the score for Batman TAs & Batman Beyond, as they proved they could do more than just the orchestral work. Something Rock & Metal based w/ some Electronica & techno thrown in. Definitely some legitimate bands will be in the score. 

 

Not sure what network I'd be able to air it on. It'd probably be more successful in Japan. I'd only be able to get it on Netflix or HBO, maybe Toonami.

and it will rock!  It has drama/love/humor/politics/touches on death

and loose/single parents and a ton of stuff!
