I'm super excited.  This will be the first time I'm actually here for the party.  I joined the fandom right around the time season 4 was ending, and I waited until the dvds came out and played catch-up with the series.  Now I'll actually be watching the day the episode airs!

Likewise. I joined the herd well after season 4 ended. This is my first season premier of the MLP series.

 

I kind of always hate watching series episode to episode. But I don't think I will be able to wait around for episodes to build up for me to watch all at once because I am guaranteed spoilers if I do. One of the drawbacks of actually joining a fandom haha.

Same.  I debated on waiting for the season 5 dvds, but I just decided I'd rather go into it unspoiled and be here for the party.  I.e. I want to post in show discussion when people still care, not a year after the season's over.  I have so much fun participating in the fandom, so I'd rather be here for that, but if it weren't for that, I'd prefer to marathon through, uninterrupted.  Now, I'll tell you right now, there's no way I'm watching Game of Thrones season 5 episode to episode.  That one I have to marathon.  But it's easy for me to avoid spoilage because I'm not on some GoT forums or anything.

Also a marathon-er here! Mostly for lack-of-time reasons. But there is something special about participating is a fandom as the episodes release one by one. It makes each episode so much more exciting when you have hundreds of other people excited alongside you.

 

I streamed the S4 season finale live, and it was amazing. I'm hoping to stream each episode as they air in S5.

But blatant advertising for the RP World aside, the rest of the site is perfectly lovely. I joined about a year ago and never expected to go as deep down the rabbit hole as I have. This place has such a great community.
