Anyone else think that her voice has improved in singing in the new song??? Got any comments about rainbow dash singing for season 5?

The beginning part was a tad awkward for me (SHYYYYYYYYYYAYEEEENEEE) but the rest was adorable as frack . Her tone was a lot happier and sweeter than we've heard in a long time, and it was a welcome change

Can't comment about whether it's an improvement or not, since I've always thought her voice was stellar.

I watched back over Rainbow's singing parts a number of times following the initial viewing. x )  I've always enjoyed her singing, so I can't speak to its "improvement."  I just wanted to hear more of it. ; _ ;  And, now I have.

 

But...  I still want more. o_O  I cannot be sated!

It was all right I suppose.  But it did sound a little strange as it felt different then what we heard from her before.

But all and all it was okay.  Now I can't wait for her inevitable solo.

I still think her old solo back in best night ever was her best singing part yet; I also liked her solo in friendship through the ages. But I don't think she's changed too much.

 

 

I just find it mind boggling how little singing she HAS gotten though; she hasn't had a solo song yet (outside of awesome as I want to be, which isn't really a full song anyways due to its short length and function more as a plot device), with her only true song so far being find a pet, which she shared with fluttershy (and it was more tailored to fluttershy on that note).
It just is annoying how all the other 5 have had so many solo songs to themselves but dashy's gotten no love
Looking forward to her FINALLY getting a solo song this season based on what the crew's told us.

I cringed when she began the song in "Castle Sweet Castle". She was fine after that.

 

I don't think RD's singing voice holds up quite as well against the other mane six, but it's not awful.

God, this part was so adorable. I really wish that's the route the episode would've taken rather than the narcissism later (besides, RD's narcissism has always been more about puffing herself up and being overly concerned with her reputation rather than thinking that she's her own idol).

 

And there's always a great song for her voice...

 

 

I'm sure she'd be a fan.
