Scoots and Sweetie Belle likely get them but AB is left in the lurch for now, making her earlier episode more poignant as the situation behind one of her fears plays out but with a better outcome. The silhouettes of SB and Scoots are pointing to/looking at their flanks in the cast poster ... we have a event that has been built up for years that is going to be resolved this season.

What do you mean "AB is left in the lurch for now"? Once the CMC get their marks, their crusading adventures are over and they would go their own separate ways, right?

 

I doubt the CMC getting their marks until at least about Season 6.

Too many clues point to this season (the poster, season theme, evil trollish hints by staff). And yes, I think two will get their marks this season and one will get hers next season. The one who's flank would not be visible in the poster).

 

But I'll eat my hat if I'm wrong. It is fairly obvious at this point.

A Fanfic is never canon, no matter how you turn it. If the CMC get their marks (and they will) it's considered 100% Canon, period.
