Equinox, knowing nothing about magic, pretended to actually know what he was talking about with the glyphs. She attempted to nod at all of the proper conjunctions while not looking too confused,

 

"Yeah, of course that's cool, Caramel." Equinox looked towards G.S. "We're the Ender's Alliance, a guild which I made yesterday. Our goal is to fight the power and to break free of this place! We have ele- ten members and counting! Er, and since the max guild member number is 11, we have room for one more pony and you seem to be perfect for the job! ...seriously, that glyph thing could come in handy. We're no Order, but I think we're still pretty darn good. So... you in?"

"Wait, Caliber!" Lyriex yelled.

"I'm about to cast a buff to all of you except you Snowflake, it's fire based and will damage you immensely if I tried, but here's the catch, as soon as this is cast, I'll be knocked unconscious for about 7 minutes, since the force of it is so strong!"

He threw his daggesr handle first towards Red,

"You'll be able to use these the most out of everyone, since your speed is high. Use them wisely, I'm gonna need them back when I wake up."

He knelt down on the ground. Casting the buff would be painful for him, but it was gonna be worth it, it should buff his clan members with fire, their weapons should flame and deal a ton of heat damage, hopefully, it'll be effective against the boss.

He stuck his hoof into the ground and begun whispering words. He was enveloped in fire and he could already feel the searing pain inside of him, no health was dropping from his gage but it hurt more than anything. Suddenly, a dozen tiny fire dragons shot out of his body, each finding a different target, except for Snowflake.

Lyriex swiftly stood and used all the energy he could muster, to jump back.

When he was airborne, his eyes lost all colour and he was enveloped in darkness.

Lunara sees her blades ignite in flames. She smirkes. "Guys, multi point attack."

 

She waits for the group to start moving and with them she moves. She takes wing to air dodge any incoming attacks of magic. Boy is she fast in the air. It must be her agility and speed and endurance stats. Her skill in flight is like that of an average Pegasus, but the game given stats increase her ability.

 

She attempts a flyby X-slash against him with the others.

getting out his last dragon force, he drunk it, boosting his level.

 

the sword class wanderer was unlocked and equipped, and caliber rushed at the wizard, once again trying for a downwards strike.

Gold Star shivered when he heard the invitation. He stopped picking up glyphs and stared at the two mare with sparkling eyes. Trying to regain composure, he took the aquarium in his hand and hid behind it showing its content to everyone in the process. It was filled with water with some plants but there were movements behind them.

" Well... A guild... That's... Interesting..."

he coughed a little to give back confidence to his voice.

"I did work with a lot of guild and none of them asked me to join them. I'm currently working on a big project with the Order of Time, but apart from that they did not showed that much interest in me." Gold had a little sadness in his eyes.

"Although, I believed its the only way for me to gain levels"

"And if you want to ask I'm on this floor thanks to the Dragon force potion. And it has limits, I can't go higher without leveling up now."

Red caught the dagger and received the buff. She immediately felt stronger. That was a powerful buff.

She caught Lyriex, which was awkward as she was smaller than him, but managed to land on the ground gracefully before dropping him as gently as she could. She held her sword in her mouth and his dagger in one hoof. She stood on her hind legs and joined Caliber and Lunara in their attack.

Gandalf taking hits and blocking what he can jumps back.... we are slowly pushing him towards the edge.... Gandalf blasts the others with magic and blocks with his sword... "keep fighting" Snowflake uses his magic to cause strong cold winds to blow Gandalf back

Caramel grinned. She was glad the guild cap was 11--she would be having trouble meeting more ponies than that. However, she was going to enjoy picking apart Gold's style. "Alright, cool!" she smirked at Gold, and nodded, impressed when he mentioned his level. "Nice! Well, we fight a lot of bosses around here," she said, swaggering in an exaggerated manner, as though she had been in the guild for a very long time. "I hope you enjoy that."

Making use of her high evasive stats and endurance stats she can effectively take a hit or avoid it. Lunara says, "Ok. Time for a weapon shift."

 

She lands about half way back and puts away her blades. Their agility factor was no longer needed. She knew she would have had need to reveal her monoshift spell. Now would the perfect time. She pulls out a drill hammer and says, "Guys can yall by me one minute against this guy. I have a surprise for you. The rumors were about this. Monoshift control Activate!" The Red Daemon Gem in her armor glows brightly.

 

-Real World (location of Lunara's sleeping body)-

 

On a table next to where Lunara's unconscious form rests a red stone left by her parents begins to glow. On her flank appears a red and silver mark with a pony in red and silver armor on top of the mark for a cutiemark. She mutters, "Monoshift Control..."

 

-back in game-

 

A flash accrues around Lunara. When it fades, Lunara is in a much heavier looking armor of red and silver. Her hammer has also changed form to match her armor.

 

She smiles and charges in a rainbow like arc towards Gandalf. She attempts to ground slam the hammer in front of him while avoiding the party. This sends a pure physical and magical shockwave at him in an attempt to push him back and off the edge. "This is my power. The power of an Edge Fencer." She stands ready for if her shockwave hits and if he can block or counter it.

 

[OOC: DM approved this spell for use. This ability lasts 5 minutes maximum. It consumes half the max durability of the currently equipped weapon, also drains durability at 1 point per second, and all mana left of the user. It requires a Red Daemon Gem, At least half mana remaining and a weapon with half durability. It grants +10 levels to all combat skills, this also only applies to said equipped weapon. If weapon is broken or duration timer runs out ability ends. Current Weapon remaining Durability: 400/1000 DP. (DP = Durability Points)]

Equinox perked up at G.S.'s words. "Order of Time?! Seriously?" Equinox jumped at G.S, pure excitement on her eyes. "I can't believe it! Order of Time! Top ranking! Gah! Anyone who got commissioned by the Order is allowed in! You can still work on your comission while in the guild, nobody'll mind! Just.. it would be super awesome if you joined." She sighed, calming down, and turned to Caramel.
 
"Mmhmm. Speaking of fighting bosses... uh, I mean quests, I'm picking up a signal on the quest navigator. Something related to the quest is a few blocks from here." Equinox looked at G.S. and Caramel with determination. "Shouldn't be too difficult, eh? Maybe you can run with us and see how you like being part of a team, G.S."

Gold put the last glyph in his bag with a dumb happy look on his face but it changed to an awkward guilty and shameful expression. " Mes excuses Mesdames. The mini boss might have been my fault."

He reach a green bag and take out a violet twisting vine.

" I thinks that the rare plant I collected might have spawn this monster. It's one of the 30 rare ingredients to make the Dragon might elixir. It is an advanced Dragon force potion and it's the legendary craft off my specialisation as a shaman alchemist. Apparently the Order belive that they could one shot the last boss if they had this potion since it gives a 200 level bost. That's OP I know but fighting 30 boss in order to craft this makes it more balanced."

He turned his back to them and said with an hopeful voice " I would be more than happy to teach you more about the alchemist job since it's so wide, and I'm thankful to the creator of this game for that, but I would need your permition first since I can get somewhat abit to passionate about it."

He turned himself with pleadings eyes " S'il vous plais?!!!"

His mind finaly caching up with everything Ecinox said he bulshed a little " oh I'm sorry I was lost in my thoughts, were are my manners. I guess that alchemy can wait.... I'll more than happy to run with you mes cheres guildmates. Après-Vous..."

He bowed a little pointing a random direction.

"Alright, that's settled then!" Caramel said cheerfully, and turned to Equinox. "O, mine glorious leader, let us find this quest point you speak of and go out! Questing! Save innocent NPCs from their virtual deaths!" she cried, dramatically gesturing with her hoof. "Well, but mostly to get the loot."

"So, uh, 200 levels, huh?" she said to Gold. "That's pretty neat-o, Goldilocks. When you finish the batch will it only be enough for one drink? How long's the boost?"

G.S straighten up upon realizing that he were pointing in the opposite direction and quickly caught up with Caramel.

"Apparently the bottle contains on sip and the boost hold 15 second just enough to throw everything you have while hoping that will kill everything in front of you. There is three other specialization in alchemy, Doctor, Physicist, Witch. Each with it's one legendary craft I choose the shaman specialization. It focus on buff potion."

"When an Alchemist finis his legendary craft he can choose to stay in his specialisation or forget everything and learn an other one with a booston his potions and his former skills slowly unlocking themselves as he progress."

"The only problem is that, when you reach the legendary craft the mini bosses are two time stronger."

"I did the calculation and it would be impossible to defeat the first boss of the last legandary craft with three specialisation. Well... maybe with 400 players and a good teamwork."

"So, our eleven member guild won't quite cut it, then," Caramel replied cheerfully to Gold's rather somber explanation as she opened up her map. "Oh, yeah, I see the quest icon you were talking about, Leader Equinox. Let's head there, yeah? We can see your glyphs in action against something other than insects!" She told Gold.

Snowflake blocks Gandalf's magic by creating icy walls in front of whom he is targeting then removing them Snowflake then noticed how close he was to the edge... "guys be careful he's too close to the edge".... but it was too late.... Gandalf was too far slipped back... "NOOO... if he falls we lose the loot"  he rushes over and grabs Gandalf's hoof..... he snags the staff and tosses it back to avoid it falling.... but why stop there?.... he had to reward his friends so he tried to pull Gandalf up but the bridge began to crack around his hoofs... Snowflake had a choice to make... drop Gandalf and be unable to reward his allies.... or attempt to pull him up to reward his allies but risk his own life..... he decided to try to pull him up.... Snowflake then realized that was a great mistake..... the ground beneath his hooves became very unstable.... there was no way he was going to live now.....he turns around to look at his allies and cuts free his coin purse tossing it to his allies towards the staff...... then he specifically tosses his amulet towards Caliber.... with his half skull face he says "goodbye my friends.... it was an honor to fight alongside those who match up to the elite..." Snowflake closes his eye as the ground below him break and sends him to his death.... his hat blew in the wind and landed on the bridge....

 

a minute later Snowflake's health drop from 73% straight to 0% and everyone in the guild is greeted with the message Snowflake has perished

 

(if you think this is the end of Snowflake.... again.... think again.... again......)

Red cursed loudly, rushing forward as Snowflake began to drop, but she was seconds late. "Snowflake!" She called, panic flashing in her voice, down the cliff, but the notification of Snowflake's death had already appeared. She winced.

 

The second day in the guild. Two ponies dead. Her heart twisted, feeling sickened. Brief denial flashed through her, but it was stopped by cold reason. The notifications didn't lie.

 

Red caught the hat in her mouth and moved back over to the others. She set the staff on it to keep it from blowing away.

 

"I believe we should leave the staff and hat here, as a memorial." Red said. Her voice had retained it's former calm.

"no." caliber said, as he picked up the remains of snowflakes loot.

 

"if i recall correctly, his other half of soul is in here." he said, holding up the amulet. "alls we gotta do is transfer his soul-half into a host, and he'll be almost good as new."

 

turning around, with snow's stuff, he started walking off.

Red stared after Caliber blankly. He had... no reaction at all. He didn't seem to care in the slightest that their ally had fallen. Admittedly, because he'd just clarified there was a way to bring him back.

 

"I'm not sure..." she stopped herself. She wasn't sure of what? That bringing back ponies from the dead was right? That it was moral? It completely disregarded every law of nature ever.

 

Her eyes were downcast as she thought. Was killing ponies right, though? She was in a place where there were guilds of ponies devoted to killing each other. This place defied logic and reason. And morals.

 

Which was a scary thought. If one could bring back a friend without any worries for consequences or any moral doubts, then what did that imply..?

 

She still felt the slightly sick feeling. But now wasn't the time to mull over everything. She pulled out her menu, and went into the guild menu, and the guild chat.

 

Typing with a hoof, she wrote, "Snowflake is dead. Caliber believes we may be able to bring him back to life. We beat two bosses and got loot." She closed the menu.

She glanced at Rush and Lunara. After a moment, she simply said, "we should go." and she followed Caliber.

Rush shrugged. He's in the necklace, right? So it'll be fine. Probably. All he knew is that he was about done with all this guild madness for the day. People kept dying, or almost dying, or having to be rescued... it was exhausting.

 

Following Red and Caliber, he headed off.

"What...?"

 

His memory slowly returned to him as he ungracefully pushed himself up. He eventually managed to rise to a standing position. He remembered that Red was using his daggers for the boss,

 

ah yes, the boss. Had they won? Where they still fighting?

 

He noticed everypony except for Snowflake beginning to leave. What happened to Snowflake?

 

Suddenly a notification flashed in his face.

 

'Ally, Snowflake Frostflame has fallen.'

 

He instantly felt guilt at what he had said to Snowflake, and he stumbled on shaky hooves towards Red, he needed his daggers back.

 

Wow, that really was a powerful buff he had cast.

he looked at the amulet in his hands. shrugging, deciding that if it held a soul in it, it must be a good piece of armor, he slipped it on.

the amulet causes Caliber's vision to go blue, and is unable to communicate or move.... after awhile he can see "hello Caliber.... I knew you would'a figured out why I tossed my amulet to you..." Snowflake turns to caliber and comes closer "my soul is now tied in with yours... but don't worry I'm not a parasite.... instead I'm a blessing... the reason I tossed it to you is because I had never seen anyone as strong as me in years... so I thought... if I am to fall let him have my soul.... while you wear that amulet you have mastery over my ice powers.... also I can speak with you anytime.... even materialize .... but only to you.... no one else can hear or see me and I can't touch them.... do not let anyone take that amulet from you.... if they try to.... kill them...."

"well now, would ya look at that?" he asked himself, grinning. "and you've chosen the right guy, snow. hell, even before this, if someone would try to your amulet id kill 'em."

 

he kept walking, assuming they rest are following. "but is there really a way for you to be brought back? with the whole 'find a host' thing i said?"

"possibly if you can manage to find the other half of my soul and my corpse... but that would take some great necromancy to do that..." Snowflake thinks "maybe even a replacement body.... but to be honest I don't want a new body I would rather have my old one back...."

"im pretty sure theres a necromancer in the higher floors, i was there back when i was on the front lines. im talking floors 70-80, man. and the worse thing is he's a guild all by himself. quite literally, a one man army. and-"

 

his voice dropped a bit.

 

"-he's a red player."
