Did you learn chemistry in school?

I took it in high school, but I also watch science-y videos on YouTube where chemistry types of topics come up. I find the subject interesting, though at a more advanced level a bit difficult to grasp.

I did learn Chem when I was in grades 7-9 in school, but in present time, my knowledge is very minimal.

Yeah. Took both AP and Pre-AP chemistry classes in high school and a semester of chemistry in my Sophomore year of college. Won't need much of it when I become a teacher, though, as I'll be teaching Kindergartners. Though, I will need to know how to teach those students the basics of science.

I choosed chemistry exam in 9th grade, so I was learning it for a year. Turned out non-organic chemistry is not that hard, I passed the exam pretty successfully (2 damn points from the highest mark). In the 10th grade we started organic chemistry and it was relatively easy because of fundamental knowledge, but I'm not going to take chemistry exam in the last grade, so I kinda abandoned it. Now organic chemistry doesn't have anything in common with non-organic and it became another mystery subject that I don't understand

I was required to take Chemistry in 10th Grade in order to graduate. I was okay with it, got good grades, but I didn't particularly enjoy it is a class.

Yes, I studied Forensic Science at University and there were several Chemistry modules that were part of the course. I've probably forgotten most of it now though as I haven't used any of it or done anything related related to what I studied since I left.

Absolutely important to learn. Even if I don't use it much in my daily life, there are quite a lot you need to be prepared for, like CO2 discussions, and what chemicals are in your food you eat, what effects they have, and so on.

Same, my chemistry class was very underwhelming. Learned a bunch of formulas I can’t remember, mostly.

Yes, I learned chemistry in school because my mid school was really big on science and chemistry it had even a lab we did some practical chemistry work. But Im not a chemist and I specialist in different things later on. I enjoyed this chemistry lessons in mid school and had good marks at the end

I took a lot of chemistry doing stem studies, however it made me realize many of the lies told by governments in general. That and I find that the knowledge is very dangerous in the wrong hands, especially when you understand chemistry and how to isolate certain elements. Yet my field of interest was always more the human anatomy as well as the field of business I saw little reason to pursue it more then simply as a basic know how and a good knowledge to have to better understand the composition of our world.

A little in school, more so when the oil came back. The oilfield seems to like to avoid using the common names of things.

H2S is a so very very fun gas...very corrosive and very deadly, yet so common and yet absolutely useless, so its burnt off at the well. 

NH3 is like H2S, corrosive and deadly, but very useful as fertilizer and made with natural gas.

It was required for me as well, but couldn't be bypassed. Chemistry was just a normal part of the class schedule like english or math was. I didn't have bad grades, but I don't remember anything I "learned" there. I only remember that I look stupid with laboratory glasses.

I'm going to assume when the title says "school" they mean highschool but I never learned Chemistry in highschool, though I did drop out in 10th Grade due to harassments by other students. It just was too much for me but I've always been fascinated by chemical reactions, though I probably won't ever go into it as a profession. As far as professions go, I'd rather be a therapist since I wanna help people.
