She generally gives into pressure rather easily, so Pinkie's investigation might have gotten her to admit culpability much earlier in the process. Whiteshade 1,426 April 13, 2012 Share April 13, 2012 I thought Pinkie was the culprit initially, due to her randomly blaming the chefs, but I guess you can't have plot twists all the time. Fluttershy is understandable for complex reasons regarding suppressed impulse and all that jazz, Rainbow is obvious, and Rarity is suspect to temptation. I can't believe Applejack did not eat the cake though, but they probably threw in the obvious drooling scene just to throw off people who tried to connect that point like I did. In the end though, the Sherlock ponies figured it all out for us. Warning: Signature may cause seizures, owner will sue you if you complain Nothing happens, yet everything changes. Actually, I guessed that Pinkie ate it first, so for me, Pinkie being the culprit would have been more predictable. Although I thought I saw Rainbow Dash at the beginning when Pinkie was chasing her down the train but then I second-guessed myself later on. When I found out it was Dashie, Rarity, and Fluttershy...I was honestly not that surprised by anypony but Fluttershy. I mean, Fluttershy is just so nice and respecting of others property, it just seems like the last thing she would do to eat such an important cake. It's party time, ponies!
