Your school’s looks

My high school is kind of old-looking. Parts of it look pretty meh, but some parts are ok.

 

It got built in the late '60s.

There has been a lot of construction going on at the local community college I am attending as well as much needed repairs in older buildings. Aside from the places under construction and a few old buildings that still need some fixing up it looks good.

My school isn't specifically beautiful or modern, but it's huge.

It also looks a bit old.

well my college is a mix of old and new buildings the old buildings are small and cramped while the newer ones have a lot more space to them

Both my elementary/middle school closed down and I was the last graduating class from there. My high school also closed down with me *also* being the last graduating class.... and my high school was open from 1945 as well.

My school was built in the late 19th century, so you could say it's pretty old. xP

 

However, there's constant construction going on around so we have a mix of old brick buildings and new modern-looking ones.

Meh. Some was built decades ago, like where the name is in this picture, and some was built my sophomore year, like the front. I haven't been in school for a while though, so I'm sure there's new stuff I haven't seen.

I don't know about you but the looks of my school alone is bad. I don't like school at all and the way it is is just bad. There is pipes every where you can see wires every where. The place looks like it falling apart. It does not look good at al. I was wondering I know some schools practically took like there falling apart and others are really good schools. What type of school are you in or that u went to.

I actually don't know that much history of my school. All I know it's about fifty years old and it's actually somewhat decent for a public school. Sure there's gum everywhere under the tables and one of the blocks always seems to have asbestos (which makes me question why it isn't already just knocked down and rebuilt yet), but the other buildings aren't falling apart and the school as a whole is constantly getting large improvements or changes after every year.

I was homeschooled, but the college I went to looked fairly good and upkept.

I mean, my high school was old, but it was pretty well-kept. Lots of red brick walls (weird choice for the interior of a building), very very few windows because it was built during the Cold War and they thought a couple feet of stone would stop a nuke, and a really stupid modular wall design on like 3/4 of the classrooms. I guess they thought it'd be a good idea to be able to rearrange the rooms if necessary, but the walls literally haven't been moved since the building was built, so all it led to were thin walls that didn't block much sound and a bunch of rooms that didn't have air conditioning. But hey, at least all the modular walls are magnetic. So that's a plus, I guess.

I went to several schools growing up and they varied in style, quality and age. My earliest school (1st grade) was fairly modern but simple, then I went to a very old school (2nd grade) that was maintained but way past its prime. Later grades (3-6) saw a lot of modern buildings augmented with portables (basically classrooms in a trailer) and high school was the same. Overall, most of my schools were in decent shape and clean, if not dazzling.

So they recently revamped the elementary school I went to and it looks nice. I hope they do the same with the middle school and high school because they look run down

My high school literally made headlines because it was falling apart. It's looking better now, since they've been doing construction. My grandparents live near it, so I actually do get to drive past it whenever I visit them and see the progress.

All I truly remember was the loudness of the screaming in the hallways. The graffiti on the walls made it louder somehow.

The dorms at my school was an old hospital, but you couldn't tell because everything was renovated.
