web what should I add to this chatbot?

So I made a chatbot and I added a few things to it. Okay, what. is. this.? I'm really curious cuz I have never heard about these "chat-bots". What's the purpose of these?

 

I have tried it and the responses were so random it suprised me I could spend 5 minutes having fun with this.
