It got to me learning about Accelerator's past at the end of the Sisters arc of A Certain Scientific Railgun. Not just how sad his life had been, but also because I felt horrible for previously thinking he was a straight-up asshole. Not true at all ;-;

Wolf's Rain is only one I truly just was in a fit of tears from and that was only from one death. (Everytime I seem to watch it I cry; it's that bad) The Rebellion movie when Homura was saved by Madoka made me only shed a few tears. Other than that, I've watched a lot of sad anime (in fact I really dig tragic anime) and none manage to make me shed any.

Quite a few have... But the one that has made me cry the most has been One Piece. I think Robin's backstory made me cry the most, but I think most of the main characters' did. Brook's really gets me, too.

Attack on Titan and especially, Elfen Lied. Elfen Lied's whole atmosphere is just insanely depressing and the ending of the anime doesn't help. Luckily it at least wasn't the same ending as the manga, which was 1,000x more sad. I cried for hours because of that one.

Sometimes... I've grown more sensitive, so I tend to cry at the small things as well as the deaths. I've cried during Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, and Naruto (haven't finished, so don't spoil please). Those three were out and f the five I've watched recently. XD

Clannad is probably the most cry-worthy anime ever. I cried for two days straight, and even after that I was emotionally unstable.
Also cried a bunch in Naruto. I grew up with these characters and after 10 years, you kill some of them off? Thanks. Thanks a lot.

Pokemon too. Mostly the first movie, and the butterfree episode. Man. Bye Bye Butterfree.

There are probably more, but there ones had a lasting impact on me.

Angel Beats. I curled up in a ball and just cried. Also the last episode (or second to last? I forget) of Love Live season 2 got a few tears out of me, but only really the one scene where Honoka's on the roof watching her drawing fade.

I love animes that make me cry, but I don't like long animes like Clannad which is why Angel Beats was so good. (If anyone has any recommendations?)

Death Note - L's death, Soichiro Yagami's death, Mello's death, Light's death - basically this anime has ripped a hole in my heart.

Attack on Titan - Do I even need to explain this one?

Really cried at:

  • Last episode of Chrono Crusade

Almost cried at:

  • Last Episode of SAO II

(in both cases I strongly recommend to watch the full series because otherwise it might partly be hard to understand what's going on)

I have cried during many diffrent animes. Seeing The Going Mary die, L dieing, Watching Walley die in Young Justice and finding out the series was discontinued, Elfen lieds ending in the manga and the anime, Wolves rain ending, Gin Ichimaru dying after fevealing his betrayal to aizen, Ash being becoming stone, The first time Goku died, Neji, Itachi, Jiraya, Asuma, The Third, and Gaaras death, What happened to Soubi leading up to when he became attached to Ritsuka, Robin screaming how she disserved to die and than saying she wanted to live while crying, When Kuroshitsuji ended, Full metal Alchemist. Theres a ton more but i can't list every occurance... It is a lot as you can see. I get very emotional with things i watch and attached very quickly to characters.

Clannad: After Story.

When Nagisa died. She was so cute and kind, it was heart wrenching. When Ushio died I wasn't bothered much. That felt like more of a 'well, we better kill this person too I suppose' kind of decision.

Whisper Of The Heart might of done as well. Not because it's necessarily sad but because it just hit close to home on a personal level.

I'm not a medical expert, psychologist, psychiatrist, teacher or love doctor. Take my words with a pinch of salt, yeah?

I am an experienced cook, musician and care worker though, so that's something.

Elfen Lied T^T So emotional

Try watching this anime for the first-time. The manga was better imo but it kills me that they haven't made a season 2 after all these years.
