technology Android probs...sending MMS and wifi

Is it just me or will my android phone refuse to send MMSs with wifi turned on? In 2015, do we really have to take an extra step to turn off wifi to send a pic text? Am i missing some setting that allows other people to send MMS regardless of wifi? Am i the ONLY ONE!?

I have the same problem, sometimes my phone won't download MMS. I restart it and then it works somehow.

So annoying. And I try to do restarts about once a week. Ok, as long as I'm not the only one.

Not with my phone, but data must be turned on in order to MMS to work. Anyways, I find WhatsApp more convenient and cheaper to send multimedia through the phone.

My data is always turned on, and at home my phone auto connects to our Cox wifi. But then i cant send MMS. So i gotta go turn off wifi and let it pick up my verizon signal. Then MMS will send. Slowly, very slowly, but they will go. Then go back and turn wifi back to the cox. Ugh i think that's kind of ridic.

I am not sure if using a different app will help, since this is a feature built in the OS, but it is worthy a try. Anyways, you might want to reconfigure your MMS access point. The carrier usually has a feature to send you a configuration SMS, but I think that they may also have the proper settings posted on their website.
