I missed the premiere of The Legend of Korra and just watched both episodes. In my opinion, I think it is awesome! I love the Avatar series and this seems like a great sequel. I personally like the steampunky atmosphere and how it is like the end of the bending era. I was wondering what all of you guys think.

Yeah the show definitely has potential. I think it'll be great! I wonder if it'll beat the original Avatar though... that's pretty hard to follow up.

From what I saw so far I was impressed. The story follows up correctly and it's actually really cool Toph taught earth benders how to metal bend I thought she would of kept that her own special skill. I'm not too crazy about how she already knows Fire, earth, and water bending, Makes it seem like it cut out half the story and that the show may only be around 1-2 seasons tops :/ and it's sad Sokka and zuko are gone :< Next to ang they were my next favorite male roles, oh and the cabbage guy too!

I've seen all or almost all of the episodes in The Last Airbender, and the first episode in the Legend of Korra. I really like the world of the last airbender, but alot of the characters really bug me. Like Aang and Katara. I just don't like them. I don't like Korra either, something about her attitude I dislike. I do enjoy Amon and his anti-bender revolution though. The anti-benders actually have some good points.

I love her fiery attitude. I think it adds comedy to how Tenzin is always telling her to be all calm and stuff.

I'm psyced for Korra, but I don't want to get spoiled on Aang's arc, since I stopped watching the show in the middle of the Book of Water due to lack of time, never restarted because by the time I was free, I had missed so many episodes. So, is it spoiler-free, or should I wait until I get all the books of Aang on DVD?

Watched the new episode today and all I have to say is that it was pure genius. You can actually notice the experience of the production crew in this one.

Avatar: The Last Airbender was really the only anime-ish thing I really liked, and I actually liked it a lot. The show was sorta ruined for me after the movie..... Anyways, I checked out the first episode and things are already looking good. Nickelodeon has been crap for me for a long time now. I only stay for the classic SpongeBob episodes (Same with the Fairly OddParents). I'm glad that this is o .

Although I think Korra is a little too fiery I like how different she is from Aang. That, coupled with the new setting, makes the show have a completely (for now) different feel to it and I enjoy the freshness of it.

 

Plotwise, it's still too early to say if this will be worst, equal or better than the Last Airbender but so far it's pretty good.

 

Is it just me or is the animation waaaaaay better and more fluid than A:TLA?

Avatar movie? What avatar movie? Oh you mean the blue creatures on Pandora right? Cause there definately wasn't any other movie with that title, and there definately never existed a horrible movie adaptation by M. Shyamalan, that was just a bad nightmare...RIGHT??? *twitches*
