The highlight of the Cross Country Retreat earlier this year was an intense round of cards. I have a horrible poker (read: Apples to Apples) face. 

 

 

 

I'm the one in the Whitworth hat. Yeah buddy.

 

 

 

And on the other end of the season, the one good picture of me finishing at Nationals. Gotta love short shorts.

This is me in Stuttgart last wednesday, in front of das Neue Schloss and the statue of Richard von Weizsäcker, with a fellow student from my Bible School named Simon. I stand 6'5", or 195cm.

This is later that same day, at the Weihnachtsmarkt (Advent Christmas Market), drinking Gluhwein (a spiced red wine that's piping hot and served only in December.)

The pins in my hat come from Lindau, Neuschwanstein, Bodensee and Baden-Wurttemburg, as well as one from Christian Service Brigade and the Calgary Stampede rodeo-show.

it's a tradition to fill up a doll of a character that we hate with a lot with fireworks and paper and then burn it to say good bye to the old year. It's very fun to watch. Have to say though, I have no idea who this guy is. :/
