Need help with this new OC!

So, after quite a few months or so of not doodling or drawing anything, I've opened up MS paint, and very sloppily sketched something out while waiting for something else to finish.  This came out.

 

 

And while things may be added, or removed as she's still in her concepts stage, I -do- know that I'd like for her to have some stage presence.  Likely a (swing) singer of some kind but it can be any other stage/performance you can imagine better.  It's in its concept stage so I'm still open for any suggestions as far as that! But I'd really like not only a name for her, but a CM design idea.  I could go for the music symbol or something but I'd like it to be a bit more unique than that.  It can deal with music but I'd like something more... different, I guess? I also like the idea of it having some red/flowers around it somehow, as I feel the accent would sort of pull the look together but I'm not sure.

 

I know it might be a lot to ask but I would really appreciate any help! So yes, name and CM (and feel free to throw in career/talent ideas), Please, and thank you!

her flower- it really does make the character

a silk "glove"- may look weird with no fingers, but it is classy

For cutie mark, I second the flower in her hair, but maybe have the pollen things be pearls/gold? I can't offer much help there, sorry ><

How about "Debutante" for a name? :3

 

Her cutie mark could be...hmm something generally symbolic of wealth. Maybe an open clam with a pearl in?

OMG, guys.  ;w; I hadn't been notified of ANY of these suggestions for whatever reason, I'm SO sorry!! I actually ended up caving, and went for a musical symbol.  Ugh, I should have checked this out sooner.  I'm so sorry, but thank you SO much for all of the help!!

Hahaheee....Sweet mercy, that's some beautiful alliteration! Definitely gets my vote!

 

Do get a very sort of Film Noir look to her, though I ain't very familiar to the genre. As to cutie mark, you did mention wanting flowers, perhaps a rose petal shower? But then again, from a distance it'd look like drops of blood on her flank and that could worry some ponies...

Hmm...though what to do to symbolize Noir style? Something classy....maybe...a toothpick though an olive sitting at an angle inside a martini glass? Kind of complex but at the same time still simple enough to count for a cutie mark. Though what it symbolizes...
