   A week ago, I had my first MLP dreams, not one, not two but three, and it was with Daring Do, and that was the weird part. While I love Daring Do, in fact I am in the Daring Do fan club, it was a strange experience to dream of Daring Do, on three separate nights, nevertheless these where the best dreams I ever had this year, after thirteen months of joining the herd, my new life as a brony has given me much happiness. The first dream I was with Daring Do, in pursuit of an coveted artefact, and we had to evade agents to get the object, then escape with the relic and eluding capture, second dream it was simply casual I was just hanging out with Daring Do, we were just talking, and the third dream, Daring Do needed me to protect a newly discovered city with her, from the same agents from the first dream, there were explosions and running, as the both of us had to preserve this lost city, and the inhabitants from an unseen boss, trying to use the city's technology as a weapon of mass destruction, so as far as dreams go, I will remember these dreams through all the days in my life, I just wanted to share my recent brony experience, as my metamorphosis to a brony presses on, and I welcome these unique experience, as well as other I have had, and yet to have.

Oh, forgot to mention Rarity's epic line form the original dream.  Twilight gets dark and asks Rarity if she's willing to give her life away for this.  Rarity just gives a half-smile and wave of her hair before responding, "Well, I am somewhat known for my generosity.  Perhaps you've heard?"

So when you guys have these pony dreams, do you dream it as animated like the show, animated ponies in the real world, or real world with real world ponies that look like the characters and talk?

Here's a MLP-related dream I had recently (September 24th, 2014):

 

I was walking along the street with my pal, when suddenly I spotted a girl passing by... with blue hair, shiny sunglasses, white outfit, and headphones :J I turned to look at her when she passed me, and I pointed her to my pal, saying: "Wow, look at this, she looks so odd..."

And then it came to me: "Wait! Isn't it... Yeah, she is! It's Vinyl Scratch! Hey, Vinyl!"

I started chasing her, screaming: "Hey, stop! You're Vinyl Scratch, aren't you?"

She didn't hear me due to headphones, but when I touched her shoulder, she turned, put the headphones off and confirmed. She said that she's going to a pony convention going on nearby, because she's appointed to give a concert with her music there. I was a bit shocked that there's any pony convention in my city. But I was more amazed by the fact that I met a real human Vinyl Scratch. So I decided to go there and take a look if there were more cosplayers there and what interesting things will the fans do there.

Vinyl led us to a hallway which was already full of MLP fans, many of them dressed as their favorite pony characters; they were selling their artworks, singing songs from the show etc. There was a projector there, and they displayed MLP episodes to watch them together.

It was all organized by a woman who they called Rita. She was all cool and funny.

I thought to myself I perhaps should draw something too and sell it, since I can draw ponies too, and there's never too much money

Later on, a fat chief (that is, a kitchen chief) took us and tell us to help Shpirita with catering meals for the participants. (Seems that her full name was Shpirita, and Rita was a shorthand.) So we were carrying the plates with food and put them on the tables.

 

Several days before that I had another pony-related dream, where I used Pinkie Pie form to defend myself from dream thieves

Since several days, some strange people started to appear in my dreams, apparently trying to get some confidential informations about my research from my dreams. For example, a girl who asked me a lot of specific questions about my work, research, ideas, and she necessarily wanted to see my room where I usually work at day. In another dream I went into my room and she was already there with some strange guy, and they were looking through my papers. Fortunately they found only some old projects from my childhood.

In still another dream the same girl and that guy were asking me if I had some plans of some new secret weapon. I replied that weapons and military stuff are way far from the area of my interest, and I despise stuff like that. But when I woke up from that dream, I was very angry, because it was going too far. So I summoned Shining Armor in my mindscape and I asked him to create a magical shield around my secret place of knowledge where I keep all my important discoveries in my dream world, so that they couldn't get there. And that night they didn't appear anymore.

But the next night in a dream I was walking along the street in my city and I noticed that the people I passed by started to "repeat": that is, once in a while I passed a person which looked exactly as the person I already passed a while ago. So I grab one of them by hand (it was a girl) and I explained to her that a while ago I saw a girl who looked exactly like her, and that I need to check that. So I brought her there and it really turned out that there are two identical persons! Moreover, each of them claimed that she's the real one. "Attack of the clones" – I thought to myself ;J – "Is there a Mirror Pool somewhere nearby?" So I explained to them that they're clones, and instructed them to look around for their other copies and make them aware of that too. After a while, I had a whole army of clones on my side, who did work for me, making other clones aware.

Then there appeared that guy in a suit, who seemed to be very angry at me for what I do. He yelled to me: "What do you think you're doing?! This world is MINE!!!"

I replied that it's definitely not the place where I'm standing now, and besides, this is my dream, so he is the one who doesn't belong here, so I told him to back off ;J

Then he... throwed a confetti on me Perhaps he thought he will make me mad this way or something... (Later I realized that he might actually throw something else at me, but it was the Shining Armor's magical shield which protected me and turned it into confetti.) Then I realized that directing my anger against him will not work, since this is what he expects, so I tried a different approach, inspired by the confetti: I turned myself into Pinkie Pie and I started to play with his own confetti, throwing it all back at him, and babbling with Pinkie's high-pitch voice how much FUN it is And the man started to boil and release smoke from his ears He yelled: "Grr this is not over yet, I'll return!" and he disappeared. "Giggle at the ghostie, right Pinkie Pie?" – I thought to myself. And then I woke up.

 

I once had a MLP-themed dream which was a cross-over of MLP with "Star Wars" I even tried to evolve it into a full-blown fanfic, but I got distracted and followed something else. But maybe I'll get back to it someday and finish it.

Wow, how is it that I haven't found your post earlier? You're definitely into something, and you should also check out what I wrote here in the thread about creating a portal to Equestria, because a lot of what you describe as Pinkie's words, actually does make sense, and is very similar to what I wrote about there.

 

@@Vinyl Scratch, where do I know this music theme from? I can't remember, but I'm sure I've heard it somewhere already...

I had a pony dream once. Like my other dreams, this one was unrealistic, odd, and strange. So here it goes.

 

I once had a dream where Rainbow Dash and Applejack were in a street race. Rainbow Dash was driving the 1977 Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and The Bandit and Applejack was driving the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard (1969 Dodge Charger). I woke up before the race even ended (Thanks Mom lol). Even then, it was probably one of the best dreams I've had.

I had one the other night. A rather romantic one with Fluttershy. We were sitting under a cherry blossom tree, cuddled up together..we were out on a date or sorts, having a picnic.We had eaten already and so we started cuddling. I started brushing her mane. She blushed as I did so and she leaned in to kiss me, things escalated a bit from there...and we ended up making out under the cherry blossom tree.

 

One dream of many I wish I had not been awoken from. It was such a wonderful dream.

 

 

I had another one a few days ago. I was with a couple survivors of a zombie apocalypse, and I had to ride my bike through a forest....zombies started emerging from the ground and trying to get me...I eventually lost control, and went down an embankment and into an open feild, zombies still chasing me, I started to get back on my bike and going for it. Then out of the blue Somepony started bucking apples at the zombies, the apples must've been dense or something as they took the zombies heads clean off...I look over...and I see AJ, she motions me over to her barn...turns out I had some how ended up in her field...I followed her back...and that's when I woke up.

Well, this wasn't about actual ponies persay, but I thought y'all would find it amusing nonetheless. I dreamt that I was back in high school, and in a philosophy class where all of the students were giving oral presentations. Really shy, demure girl who I haven't seen for years gets up, and inserts her USB to find a powerpoint.

 

Boom! Giant folder full of pony fan art. After apologising, she then proceeds to start her presentation with "Dear Princess Celestia...", and of course you could imagine where this went...

I had another pony dream after I crashed in bed at 3AM from heading back from a trip. Like my last one, it was strange and unrealistic but awesome.

 

I was heading to Bryant-Denny Stadium to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide go against the Florida Gators. Everything seemed like a normal beginning of a football game until I see Rainbow Dash soaring across the sky right before the start of the game. That, of course, made my game even better than it was but it gets better. About a few minutes into the game, Rainbow Dash actually sat next to me and started to talk to me. We had a nice conversation and Alabama won their game. It was one of those dreams that got me mad when I woke up.

The recent one I had today, was the encounter with The Dazzlings, in human forms of course, me and the other guys whom I don't know (none who are from Rainbow Rocks, of course; we were five, at least), and the three told us that they want us to prove that we could sing like them, or be stuffed in a taco suit every Tuesday for five weeks. As odd as it sounds, we only managed to keep practicing at perfecting our voices... weird.

Last night I had a dream that Santa Claus landed with his flying sleighs on my roof, and when I climbed there to see him, he turned out to be Starswirl the Bearded He told me that I was good this year, so he's gonna give me a present: he told me the solution to a geometry problem with regular polygons I was struggling with recently, and I was amazed how simple and elegant this solution was. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the details after I woke up ;/

I've actually had a few. But I can only remember two of them.

 

The first one I had was me becoming Zecoura's apprentice and learning to brew all sorts of potions and elixers, but it's not very interesting compaired to the other one.

 

The second one I had was quite complex. It started with me discovering a rift that lead to Equestria. Of course that's already one of the best things that could happen to me, so I explored for a bit before coming back, after all, I have friends back in this world that I woulnd't trade even for all of Equestria. I showed my friends the rift, and we explored Equestria. Some ponies from Equestria also discovered the rift on their side, and it was soon discovered that anyone who entered through the rift, gained the power to transform between a human form, and a pony form no matter which world they were in (even the ponies that came to our world). Not many really had a chance to travel, though, as shortly after I discovered the rift, the US government shut it down. Most people were very mad about this. So many bronies and pegasisters wanted to be able to meet their favorite characters, to turn into their ponysonas freely, to fly as a pegasus or cast spells as a unicorn in the human world. The government, however, did not shut down the rift without good reason, and it would not be closed indefinately. The rift was essentially a border between two nationstates, and with a border, there would have to be new laws discussed with the Equestrian government reguarding immigration, visitation, trade, and general diplomatic discussions. An open border where anyone can enter or exit would become chaos fast, not to mention ponies and people fighting to get through the rift without a formal system to regulate visitations. So various US government officials were sent to discuss border laws and diplomacy with the newly discovered Equestrians, and many other contries had sent diplomats to discuss laws as well. The US selected me to be part of a large meeting where Equestrians and diplomats from all over the world would meet to discuss law. They felt that since I discovered the rift, that I should have some say in what would happen next. You can probably guess the six diplomats that Equestria sent over to Earth, however, Fluttershy grew nervous. She found out that this would not only be talked about for ages to come in Equestria, but watched live by the billions of citizens of Earth all over the globe. She freaked out and hid in the restroom and refused to come out. The debate was about to begin, and none of the other mane 6 could get Fluttershy out of the bathroom, until Twilight turned to me. She said I had discovered the rift, and even though she as her friend couldn't get her out, perhaps someone from our world could discuss things with her and put things in context better than someone from Equestria. Since I obviously wasn't so strict and formal as the other diplomats, Twilight felt I was the best candidate to talk Fluttershy into coming out of hiding and joining the debate. Time was of the essence as well, with the media forming at the door, waiting to get in and hear the debate, if the discussion had to start without one of the diplomats from Equestria, no doubt the media would eat Fluttershy alive! And nobody or pony wanted that to happen. So I transformed into Hocus Pocus and entered the restroom. I felt she would feel more comfortable seeing a pony face than a human one, and I asked if she wanted to speak somewhere more private. She agreed, and I teleported the two of us to a nearby field. We could see the building in the distance, and the crowd of news outlets swarming the front door.

 

My conversation with Fluttershy got pretty personal between the two of us, and that's why I know I'll always remember this dream. I won't say exactly what I told her here for all to see (like I said, personal), but I can say the gist of it.

 

I told Fluttershy that everyone wanted me to tell her to be brave and face her fears, but I wasn't going to do that. I told her that hiding what made her herself would not be the solution to facing the crowds. I told her it was okay to be scared of them, because the truth was I was scared of it all too, but when we would go out there, facing the lights, cameras, and microphones, at least we could be scared together.

 

With my speech, I convinced her to join the conference, and after teleporting us back to the building and walking out with Fluttershy, the meeting began. I woke up shortly after the debate started, and couldn't stop thinking about the dream all day.

Well i've been having lots of incepted (meaning dreams inside dreams) dreams lately. They get weirder each level. One of the more recent ones was like this (i'll put it in a number line with 1 as regular dream level and 4 being deepest level)

 

1. wake up from level 2 to real life with one difference; the sky is pink.
2. I was for some reason able to fly if i crossed my legs.
3. I woke up from 4 inside school, in a Computer Science lesson, to find that the lesson is about stuff on the internet, we were watching Season 1 Episodes 1 and 2.
4. Me, my cousin, and 2 friends were walking through some woods when we got teleported to equestria. we had some fun but i died on the way back to the human world.

I had a lucid dream and locked myself into the dream then I dreamt to about of fanfics and other stuff and I unlocked myself out of the dream after a while then the entire day everyone looked like a pony.

Last night I had this really weird dream where there was some sort of disaster that killed all the ponies except for Twilight and then Twilight entered some waterfall cave thing and then I think she died. But then there was a legend of zelda treasure box and Twilight was reborn as a filly and then two more treasure boxes appeared and Rainbow and Rarity came out (also as fillies), then Twilight started crying because Celestia was dead and she couldn't be reborn for a while for some reason. Yeah I have no clue what caused that dream to happen....
