Just thought to share as in given,  many of us still love and remember the epic USA cartoon known as Samurai Jack!    Now after running 52 lovely episodes and than just yanked and many of us watchers just feeling empty to what would happen to Jack and leaving the whole show just so open!    Well good news: Jack is back:

I really cannot wait for this, just hope it's as good as people are wanting it. I've not watched any Samurai Jack episodes in a super long time, I'll be sure to stay up to date on this though

Well technically Adult Swim, but they're the same channel nonetheless.

 

I personally didn't really watch the show growing up, but I've heard it's amazing and that's great for the fans, especially since that show never got a proper ending. And, it looks like it will actually be a continuation and not a spin off (looking at you Teen Titans Go)

Story wise,  Samurai Jack is a stand alone and at times yes, each ep is a stand alone but the writers will throw out the connections to some of them at times to push the bigger plot along. Also visual,  Jack is pure eye candy to the mind and well eyes of the watcher from the backgrounds, the fight flow and just moment of pure stillness which also SA just echos in.    Personally,  Samurai Jack is one of the best cartoons to come out in the last 20 years...

Same cahnnel, but different network. A Netowrk isn't necicarilly the same as a channel, you can have one channel with 2 networks time-shared on it, but each are independent of eachother. In the case of Adult Swim, it's management, programing development, ratings reports, scheduling practices, and web presences are all seperate from Cartoon Network, despite being on the same channel. If you go to turner's website, Adult Swim has it's own section as a seperate network. So though Cartoon Network Studios is behind the Samurai Jack revival, Cartoon Network itself isn't involved in marketing or managing the revival.

No this is continuation and unlike Baby Titans where the creators of it never read the comics nor watched the show, the creator(Genndy Tartakovsky) is coming back to the show.

Well great, I've never actually seen Samurai Jack personally and I don't really have all the time to watch every cartoon people say is good. However, if it's as good as people say then I guess it's great news that it's coming back and I hope it keeps up the quality.
