Favourite albums of 2015?

Yo! I was just wondering what you all thought the best albums of 2015 were.

 

 For me it was-

David Gilmour - Rattle That Lock

Brandon Flowers - The Desired Effect

Blackmore's Night - All our Yesterdays

I haven't really listened to many full albums; pretty much the only one I HAVE listened to is "Set to Stun and the Desperado Undead" from Set to Stun, and, in my opinion, it's absolutely phenomenal. I was worried that the quality of their music would go down after they got signed to a label, but it's just as energetic and insane as their older stuff.

Disturbed: Immortalized

Thought that was pretty good for a newer album by a band that had not been together for a while.

 

Iron Maiden's Book of Souls wasn't terrible either, but I did not enjoy nearly as much as Immortalized.

I didn't listen to any chart killer albums. I never really do, but my favourite would be Madeon - Adventure. If you haven't heard of it, you better check it out.

I always confuse things I like for favorites. so i actually have 6 for 2015.

Disturbed: Immortalized

Thought that was pretty good for a newer album by a band that had not been together for a while.

 

Iron Maiden's Book of Souls wasn't terrible either, but I did not enjoy nearly as much as Immortalized.

This is pretty much the only album from 2015 I've listened to but it was a pretty great offering, in my opinion. I listened to the first four songs at least three times a day for a week before I finally listened to the rest. I grew to love every song on there and the song that drew me to it, Immmortalized itself, is actually the least interesting.

 

I especially loved Sound of Silence. Not my favorite song on the album (that'd have to go to What You're Waiting For, Open Your Eyes or Tyrant) but I loved the change. It really proved that Draiman's range can go much farther than he usually makes it.

In Colour by Jamie xx is my favourite album. I've had it on repeat constantly over the past month.
