Humans in Equestria!?

Do you think we'll ever see a human in the Pony realm?

 

Do the ponies recall travelling to become Equestria Girls? I haven't seen those so can't comment.

 

Many other animals appear in their world so perhaps humans will crop up...

There probably aren't humans as we think of them but there may be several species with highly anthro forms like Iron Will.  My understanding with Equestria Girls is that it's an off-shoot from the main continuity and best regarded as non-canon.  EQ events were never mentioned in the main series.  But since it doesn't add or take anything from canon no harm if some viewers wish to regard EQ as canonical, right?

Problably impossible. Also yes, Twilight remembers having a crush on Equestria Girls Flash. But again, impossible, since all humans that comes to Equestria become Ponyfied and vice-versa.

To my knowledge there's a VERY strict "No humans" policy in the Equestrian world according to the show staff; They mention in the art of equestria book in regards to Lord tirek that they had to alter his design due to this in order to make him look more bull like and Inhuman compared to normal centaurs being half human.

 

 

Additionally, the existence of the Equestria girls franchise provides a DOUBLE incentive to avoid having humans, in that humans are the point of the equestria girls franchise. You start putting humans in FIM, you've removed the entire point of having a humans franchise and made the two less distinct from each other.
Having distinct purposes is a good idea for the toylines, its like having vanilla and chocolate icecream, two different flavors for different people. You don't just starting trying to mix the two together, you keep them seperate.

And yes, one has to wonder if the Williams Siblings will be involved.

 

At one time I thought we might get something semi-human like elves, dwarves, fairies and the like, but it looks like they're out of the question thanks to Equestria Girls.

Nope, no humans in Equestria, any human going through the portal will become pony, and I think EG and ponies should keep separate. Unless as one time gag where either Pinks go through the portal and shananigans ensues

I don't want any humans in FiM but as a G1 fan, I've got to say I really loved the kid napping song, which I never noticed that was what was actually happening until I read comments on this forum and YouTube. Good thing I was never approached by flying pastel ponies as a kid. I would have gone with them no questions asked.

I'm pretty sure they hinted at Twilight's crush on Flash Sentry a couple of times in season 4. That was an EqG thing.
