I'm looking forward to this movie. Disney hasn't failed to impress me with its last three films (yes, I enjoyed Frozen) and the trailers make it look pretty interesting.

 

Also, I'm betting $5 (not really) that the lion is actually the main antagonist of the movie. Because (a) what's a Disney movie without a plot twist, and (b ) he's voiced by J.K. Simmons, who's (I think) known for portraying a lot of villains.

I'm certainly looking forward to it! Even if i'm a tad disappointed by the lack of reptiles, amphibians, birds and arthropods, heh heh. But who knows, if this movie is successful enough, other kind of animals could show up in any sequel

Zootopia has a intruiging concept, with all the anthromorphic animals and just the idea of one large community where they all gather and live their lives in sounds engaging. I've got to watch this film soon

THAT'S why the artstyle looks familiar! I didn't realize it was done by the same people as Frozen. I was trying to put my finger on why I recognized the rabbit in spite of having not seen it.

 

I will definitely go see this movie. I love all things animated and Disney never fails.

* a friend of mine went to see it a month early at a premier in scotland last week, so i guess i'll have to wait to see it when it comes out next month with some other friends.

   We get Zootopia a day early in Houston, and I am going to that première, after Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Inside Out, I am very eager to see it, although I am a furry, it's more than just anthropomorphic animals I wish to see, I want to see the creativity of this universe, how diverse the animal community is, and how this civilization came to be. I sense the plot is going to be similar to book one of the Legend of Korra, when Korra goes to Republic City, to learn airbending from Tenzin, voiced by J.K. Simmons, only to be at the centre of anti-bender sentiment, for the non-bending people feel that benders are dangerous and belligerent, fostered by Amon, a mysterious criminal boss, finds the energy of the prejudice and concern of the non-benders, putting Republic City and Korra in grave danger. This is my prediction and impression, which makes me excited to go to the early première, and I will definitely watch it more times in the theatre, Zootopia looks like a winner, and I will definitely post my summary here.
