Will Rainbow Dash ever make the Wonderbolts?

Before i share my personal thoughts on the topic i just want to disclaim that Rainbow Dash is one of my favourite ponies and this is my opinion it is not a hate comment!

 

I believe Rainbow Dash has the potential to claim her place on the Wonderbolts team for sure! She has the confidence, skill and agility required to be a member but....... I feel that Rainbow Dash is just far too caught up in how good she knows she really is to realise the Wonderbolts are all about teamwork - in a way she is sort of indulging in her own pride. I think until Rainbow Dash learns all about teamwork she wont be qualified for the Wonderbolts...... Tell me your opinions down bellow!

I don't think RD is caught up with how good she is WITH the wonderbolts. Yes, she does brags a lot to other ponies, but she treats the wonderbolt's like royalty, cray cray fan girling and everything.  

 

I think she's totally humble in the presence of spitfire + the other wonderbolts, she treats herself like she's under them. . This honestly confuses me because she's so much better than Spitfire, Soarin etc..and tbh the wonderbolts should be begging her to join their team. After all she is the only pony that can do a sonic rainboom..

Sure, they've recognized her several times already, so why not? She even flew with them in place of what's-his-name, the legendary dude, who framed her for sending off Spitfire. She can't be more caught up in herself than that guy.

I can completely agree with the both of you! She has literally saved the lives of the Wonderbolts (several times i believe) AND is the only pony who can preform the Sonic Rainboom. She has the skill and everything required to be a Wonderbolt but i just feel that she dosnt have that sense of Team work that the other bolts have... she is always trying to be the best - I am not the only one with this opinion too. Again like i said, dash is one of my favourites so im defiantly not bagging her out for that

The teamwork thing isn't really an issue, and I'd argue that RD has been a terrific team player for a few seasons now. Dash's biggest problem currently is her tendency to put the Bolts up on a pedestal, even after they've repeatedly shown that they aren't quite worthy of all the adulation she tends to shower on them.

 

I'm sure she'll join them eventually. Shoulda happened seasons ago, frankly. It's the longest-running unresolved arc in the show.

I am usually not the kinda guy who is totally cynical about the show. But when it comes to the long subplot with Rainbow Dash and the Wonderbolts, i am kinda getting sick of it. She could've been in it by Season 3 and the test at Season 4 should've been even more of an indicator.

 

They should really wrap this up this season.

If she didn't have the right attitude, she wouldn't have gotten in the reserves. Being a main wonderbolt is a step up and also probably inevitable at some point.

I'd say RD is quite a team player. She's part of the M6, she has to be. We also seem to forget that the Equestria Girl version of Rainbow is actually in a team or rather multiple teams. She wouldn't be in them if she wasn't a team player. Sure she might be the star but that doesn't mean that she can't function as part of a team...

 

She has the skills, is the only known pony to do the sonic rainboom and has been invited to hang out with the wonderbolts. So yeah, I think she can make the wonderbolts.
