anyone else SUPER EXCITED for this?

http://store.steampowered.com/app/289070/

from what i'm seeing, the graphics are AMAZING, a huge step up in visual quality, the scenes are colorful and beautiful and the colors are sharp, the coastlines aren't really quite awkward like in previous civ games and the road and land improvement transitions are much cleaner and less awkward than their civ 5 counterparts

from what i've read, firaxis is aiming to eliminate the sort of "meta" problem that civ 5 had with certain social policies and wonders standing out from the rest, and now city buildings are kept in districts, which i believe are actually tile improvements

I'm really excited for Civ6. While Beyond Earth is great, I've been wanting a Civ6 for a long time. Civ6 along with Stellaris, which recently released, is going to be amazing. :)

From what I have seen in the preview through the link, Civilization VI's graphics look as cartoonish as those in Civilization Revolution.

I have nothing negative against the game, but I wished that Civilization V should have another expansion pack. That game is too beautiful to be forgotten.

Not much interest. I used to play Civ to fill the role as an alternate history game. However, EU4 destroyed my interest in Civ; I can't enjoy playing the game anymore.

Also, does the game's graphical style bother anyone else? I mention this because it really looks like a graphical style that would be used by pay-to-win/freemium games.

Even though I probably won't buy it because I don't have money, it looks good and I'm glad that another civ is coming. The only thing that bothers me is graphic style (cartoonish stuff too much), but it's not gonna destroy the whole game for me.

I really need this game in my life.

Civilization is one of my favorite game franchises, so I really hope it will be good.

Unlike my wallet, I hope Firaxis brings back economic victory.

Yeah, I saw this in steam store yesterday! I'm really looking forward to it!  It's going to be the best Civilization game eve-

*sees price*

You know... on second thought, I'll just just keep playing the Civ 5 game I have. I still have much more to invest in it anyways...  :P

i don't understand this sentiment that the visual style is too cartoonish, it's very colourful and vivid but it's plenty more realistic than civ 5

I actually really love the thought and the direction of the Civ series going for a cartoonish style, but looking at the preview pictures... I dunno... it doesn't look anything groundbreaking IMO.

Oh well! I'm sure that's something I can very easily overlook! I dare not make that same mistake when I was judging Civ 5 back when I had Civ 4. It's kinda nice that they are going back to the 3D trees like Civ 4.  :twi:

Seeing as I never actually really played V despite having purchased it and played around for a little while, I can't really get myself excited.
