Where Do Unicorns Go Inbetween Teleportation?

Midnight Seashell

Realm of Darkness, specifically the old, shadow-stained city of Tambelon. Most equines remain ignorant to such small glimpses into the otherworld, their minds untrained to spot horrific truths behind the veil of fear and frailty that shrouds our mortal minds. Thus the beckoning of the bell remains unheard.

There are tales, of course. It is said some ponies never return after their wink, however, such tales have likely resulted from the ploys of our overprotective mothers who all too often worry that their little foals could wink themselves into danger. Educated scholars should not trouble themselves with such commoners’ nonsense.

They most probably dematerialize and then materialize; thus killing themselves every time and creating an identical clone of themselves with implemented memories. I highly recommend checking the teleportation topic up.

Space in time. The theory of subatomic travel concurs as the molecular mass of an object is reduce to fit between the given time. An quick wink and the unicorn is reduced to an subatomic state between time and space. Magic is an important factor in the speed of the transition, as to which some unicorns don't make it to the other side of the time continuum.

I think they move to the place they teleport to, really quickly. And while they're doing that, they flash and disappear, then reappear.

An infinite void of a pocket dimension where time passes incredibly slowly in contrast to the instant jump perceived in the outside world. Well, maybe not. They're probably actually teleporting themselves rather than jaunting or existing in some in-between state.

To the space between spaces... like those aliens from hands-down the BEST Indiana Jones movie ever.  :P

Jokes aside, who says they go anywhere? They stop being where they were and start being where they weren't but are now. Simple.

@@Midnight Seashell,

I'd say they're transported to a place similar to where Twilight goes when she fixes Star Swirl's spell and becomes a princess. but it only be for an instant, as time did not seem to act differently there than in Equestria.

They either dematerialize, and rematerialize, latterly zip to that place really fast (Like when a game glitches and you move somewhere without moving, but you can see the character), or go to the void in-between dimensions or into a different dimension, but only catch a glimpse of it. :adorkable:  :okiedokieloki:   :scots:

Hell.

the S6 finale is Doompony (AKA fluttershy) having to fight off a demonic invasion after unicorn teleporation allows them to invade.

I would be perfectly okay with that.

It would definitely make for the best season finale to date.

Plus any excuse for Fluttershy to get screentime lately is good enough for me.

What if every unicorn has their own personal space-time dimension, and when they teleport, they temporarily move there? That'd work.
