Fudge and Sundae looked around, understanding why Cyan lowered her voice to a whisper. Fudge then leaned forward and said softly, "I hope we can find our talents, soon."

 

"Yeah," Sundae agreed. "I wonder what mine will be. I'm just glad we can talk about it together, Cyan."

 

The twins took out their lunchboxes and opened up their sandwiches out of the foil wrapping. Fudge bit into his and stuck out his tongue.

 

"Peanut butter again," Fudge groaned.

 

"I got jelly," Sundae said, peeling the top bread slice off her sandwich.

 

"Dad should stop making our sandwiches," Fudge said. "He never gets them right."

Scar felt kinda bad for a dragon, he had overreacted, He couldn't blame anyone from curiosity, not when he too was curious pony.

He said to Quill "Well, I think it's time to get back inside." And went inside, when he entered class before he went to sit down he walked to Walleria. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to get you feel bad, I forgive you" "It's good to be curious, that's how you learn best."

@@Yoshi89 Cyan thought about what her special talent might turn out to be. She did love animals and nature, and was particularly interested in those that made their homes in the jungle, but she had never interacted with any before and assumed she would be nervous. "I'm not really good at anything..." she murmured, half to herself. "Maybe I might get a cutie mark based on what I like? Or my personality?" She pondered for a moment, but then her attention was snatched back to reality as she heard Fudge complaining. She chuckled.

"If you like salad, I'm okay to give you half of mine," she offered quietly. "I'm not that hungry anyway."

Star followed the pair in after a few moments of finishing her sandwich.

She sat in the chair in front of them, turning around."Don't mind if I hang with you two, you two talk two me you see. I like not being alone and you two are cool." She smiled at them both she wanted some friends these two would be great friends.

Before she knew it, Scar had also entered the classroom and walked up to her.

 

"It's ok... It's my fault... Mom always told me that I'm to currious for my own good." she replyed still wih her ears glued to the side of her hheth.

 

Shortly after did the brown filly join them and placed herself on the seat in front of them and asked if she could hang with them!

 

"Hang with us?" she answered with both interest and confusion. "Like? As friends?" if her tone hadn't decived her, then perhaps her now up pointing ears did.

Twilight was somewhat surprised that he didn't wan't to borrow a copy, at the very least it could be pass... She shook her head, Yeah, best to keep the special copies of the books out of the children's hooves.

 

She waved as he flew off and returned inside to continue her studies.

 

Meanwhile...

 

Baseplate noticed that the students were going back inside, he turned to Dinky, "Well, it was fun while it lasted." He quickly moved back to his seat and checked his bag to ensure that it hadn't been tampered with in his absence.

"Sure...we can hang together, new friends are always good... and it's not like I would be overwhelmed by number of friends either" Scar said with a smile, even that he liked to being alone, company now and then wasn't too bad.

Sappy took a moment to steel himself as he approached the class room. This would be his first time teaching kids ever, or being a teacher for that matter. Today he decided to teach them about the northern ponies. This should be very exciting!

Fudge reached over with his foreleg and shook Lupus' hoof. "Nice to meet you, Lupus," he said. "My name's Fudge Cookie. My family got transferred here over the summer."

Sundae's face lit up like the Manehattan skyline when she saw Cyan trotting over to her group. "Cyan, hi!" she called out. "Come eat with us!" Sundae then stepped aside to her brother who grinned and blushed. "This is my twin brother, Fudge Cookie. He doesn't have his cutie mark either."

 

"Pleased to meet you," Fudge said.

Sundae watched the food fight emerge between Strong Shot and Misty and, taking Lupus' advice, ducked with her brother under the table as well. She then waved a hoof if the rest of their group wanted to hide. "I hate food fights," she said, shaking her head. "Why waste perfectly good food?"

"Its nice to meet you too Fudge." Lupus replied, and then his stomach growled.

 

"Well, it is lunch time. Guess I'd better eat." He then proceeded to pull a brown paper bag out of his saddlebag.

 

"Let's see what I got today, there's a cheese sandwich, a chocolate chip cookie, and an apple juice box."

 

He looked over at Sundae's jelly sandwich and said, "Wanna trade?"

Quill was quite nervous now, she'd been bold in her question now the reality of asking it sank in now she looked at them a little nervous. Even though Scar had said yes, she was waiting for the dragon's postive responce.

"I'd like you as friends, and hang out and stuffs, Not that I know a lot about what ponys do when they hang out but I bet it'd be mer fun then being alone at Banner's house" Walleria said happily and yet trailed of to thinking as she put her index claw into her mouth to think. "Yes I think being friends will be fun!" she finaly said with a big happy and toothy smile that hopefully wouldn't scare the others away.

Suddenly there was a flash of light and Sunset Light appeared out of nowhere right next to them. Looking like he'd just sneezed and looking down in embaresment.

 

Not knowing what happend, Walleria just looked in confusion to the mystery of light and pony popping up randomly.

Lupus hadn't yet noticed that class had started, when he had finished his sandwich and realized that everypony else was gone, he made a mad dash for the classroom.

He said as he ran down the hallway and skidded to a halt outside the classroom door. He opened the door and sat down at an available desk.

Fudge stared as Cyan pushed her salad her way. The colt wasn't a big fan of greens but then again anything would have sufficed other than boring old peanut butter with his bag of chips and grape juice box. He then ripped his sandwich in half and offered the piece without his bite mark. "You can have this if you want," he said.

As Fudge and Cyan were sharing their food, Sundae took out the rest of her lunch: an apple and a chocolate milk box. She smelled a different sandwich being offered to her and turned toward Lupus. She raised her hoof to give Lupus her jelly sandwich. "It's a deal," she said, accepting the cheese sandwich.

"I don't know what I think I'll be good at," Fudge told Cyan in between munches of the salad leaves. "All I know is my dad wants me to do what he's been doing."

 

"That doesn't mean you'll wind up with his talent," Sundae said, pausing to swallow a bite of the cheese sandwich. "Remember when I thought I'd have mom's talent?"

 

"How can I forget you cutting the hair off your plushies?" Fudge deadpanned, rolling his eyes.

 

Fudge and Sundae sighed happily when they finished their lunches but gasped when the school bell rang. "Oh no!" they cried together before grabbing their belongings and rushing back to class. They arrived at the same state earlier in the morning, panting as they reached their seats.

As the food fight went on string shot ducked hearing a student call out food fight. He shook his head and dove under one of the tables to try to get the hey out of his eyes. "first day of school, oooh this Is a great start" he moaned outloud and agnerly. Hearing the call from Cheerilee he was surprised she didn't lay down the law.  

 

Once inside the class room of the dragon he held a glare with summer bead as the two sat down, summer bead just sneared at him. Dinky was a little shaken from the food fight herself sitting by string shot who also had baseplate next to her as well.

Scar couldn't finish his sentence when Sunset appeared out of nowhere next to them."Well hello there." He said staring at the pony that had just appeared and shook his head. "I was  just saying that I'm going to my seat so..." He went to take a seat that was two seats away from Walleria and Quill. There was no seats open closer for him to take.

"Do I?." He said with surprised expression "Sorry about that if it is so? Nothing is wrong." 

"But I have heard that before, it might just be my personality or something" He smiled at Sunset. "but I appreciate you asking."

He didn't see any other reason for it, he wasn't upset over anything right now.

Baseplate saw the same dragon from before standing up at the front of the classroom, having seen him burn a book earlier he was wary of him and his teaching methods.

 

He noticed another unicorn suddenly warp into the room and was surprised and scared, both that someone so young could teleport, and that they had very little control over it, meaning they could just as easily warp into a wall or another pony.

 

He was glad though that Dinky was now sitting next to him, he leaned over to whisper at her, "I have a bad feeling about this new teacher."

@@Yoshi89 @@cwhip9 Cyan took the sandwich, said "thank you", and began eating. She'd barely finished by the time the bell rang disharmoniously, abruptly signalling the end of the lunch break. Cyan Flare sighed then got up lazily from her seat and trotted back to class, following Fudge and Sundae. She sat back down in her seat quietly.

@@GingerLightning, "woah now ginger, go easy" clover said steadying the young changeling. She checked her eyes they seemed all right. "ok then do you want ne to follow you to class hun?" she asked

Dinky looked up from her desk to the teacher, she never had a dragon as a teacher before so she didn't know what to think about it all. whispering back to base plate she said "_{I wouldn't worry about it I mean I hear spike is ok, walleria up their didn't start that food fight so I call it good "}  The little pony responded

 

summer bead and string shot were still having the glaring session, string shot wanted to do so many things he almost didn't notice @@Sunset light, sunset appear like he did. Hearing the reactions he turned around momentarily to see the teleporting. "that's cool" he thought out loud still very new to magic himself.

Baseplate rolled his eyes, "I know Spike is fine, I live with him. Just like all ponies are different, so, I would assume, are all dragons. And this dragon," he gestured towards the dragon in the front of the room, "I don't trust him, I saw him burn a book outside at the start of lunch. I just can't respect someone who would destroy a book in such a manner."
