I've bought every CoD game that's come out since Modern Warfare 2, and I bought each around launch.

This year, I decided to place my preorder on Battlefield 1.

Game is dead to me. Black Ops 3 is what I have now and even I feel as I should get rid of it. If the franchise want to keep taking the futuristic nonsense, fine by the developers. For me it turns me away. I probably be done with PvP shooters cause of the franchise themselves. It too chaotic with jet packs, overpowered perks, unfriendly to solo players, and maybe more.

Wouldn't really call it excited but I'll definitely be watching competitive play on livestream once it launches just like I've done with the latest couple of games. Haven't really played any cod after bo2 cause I don't want to pay so much money for a new console, lol.

I'm not really raising any high hopes at the moment, in my opinion the franchise is a bit worn out.

Never been interested in Call of Duty in the slightest, because I find the series incredibly boring and a bit too casual for my taste.

Battlefield on the other hand is more interesting and the new one releasing looks very intriguing and I am interested to see where it goes.

I'm only interested in Infinite Paywall for MW:R, and maybe space battles

@@Vulon Bii,Agreed. I'd personally recommend against pre-ordering anything. You're wasting your money on something that could possibly be not very good when it releases. If you pre-order it, then get it when it releases when it comes out, if you don't like it, well, that's $60 down the drain. And even if you see preview gameplay, it doesn't always show what exactly the game will look like. I'd suggest waiting for reviews, and not from bullcrap sites like IGN and Gamespot.

I'm interested in Battlefield 1 as well, but I'm gonna wait for gameplay at the least, and wait for reviews from unbiased people.

In my honest opinion, the series has run its course and its time to move on to another franchise. I don't know why CoD is still a thing when it should've ended for good after Black Ops 3.
