Most people don't even know I'm a brony, though, so I normally don't have to deal with haters in those regards. I get hated for other things, though. Haters will hate on just about anything.

Is it just me, or are trolls getting really lame these days? I honestly die a little inside when I see something like this. It's ridiculous.

 

My worst encounter is when this one kid kept calling ponies gay over and over again. It became irritating, and it wasn't even insulting or funny. So I told him he didn't have to watch the show if he didn't want to. However, he kept at it.

But still, I loved and tolerated the entire time and threw in some smart ass answers, and he eventually gave up because he couldn't make me crack. For me I've had no hate, just odd comments from time to time. Earlier today I got a text from my friends saying 'My Little Ponies gay' but shortly after that she rang and said she was trolling and couldn't care less. Another friend put a picture of a Hello Kitty ball gag on my facebook page and then said 'If only we could find a MLP riding crop' kinky bastard lol

Lucky. The worst haters I've seen were my best friends and my parents. My parents think we're all odd for watching the show, and my friend says we're all "immature faggots" (ignore the irony of the statement). I'm thinking of getting my friends to try to watch teh show, but I'll try to remove any previous conceptions about the show that could otherwise give a bias, but that probably won't work, so I may end up just winging it. It's easy to say "I support tolerance as long as it's people I agree with." Too many people seem to define "tolerance" as getting on the side which you deem most "Enlightened." I have never one actually seen a hardcore hater myself. Maybe because I try to stay Incogneto about it. My one friend even laughed at me and said "Is that all"? when I explained to him what a Brony was and that I was watching My Little Pony. There are always going to be haters of anything as big as My Little Pony.
