general Do you like parties?

I don't usually like to attend parties because hosts usually aren't being creative. Boring music, food and drinks so I'm getting bored too.

That's why I'm usually hosting myself. Usually it's that nerdy tabletops parties. Sometimes it's movie parties like we are watching old and not well-known horror movies, or there was a time when I was doing VR parties where guests could compete playing Beat Saber or play VR horrors while others are seeing their scary adventures on the screen. Extremely amusing >=3

I honestly prefer a small get together with friends over a giant party with people I don’t know.

True on my end as well.   Throw in a campfire?  Even Better? BBQ? LETS DO IT!! :pinkiecrazy:

I think I like the idea of parties more than actually going. In theory it sounds great: friends, music, games, food, dressing up cute. In reality though it just isn't as fun for me. I get really dizzy or overstimulated in crowded and loud spaces, I don't really like the music, a lot of party games feel sort of repetitive or boring after a while, and it ends up just feeling like you're sitting around awkwardly holding a plate of food in uncomfortable clothes. I really just like hanging out with a few friends casually and watching a movie or doing crafts together.

There are some exceptions tho, like my friend had a fantasy themed birthday party where all of the guests were a part of different factions (enchanted forest, dark forest, the castle, mermaid cove) and all the games/food went with the theme. That was really fun, probably because it was more engaging and had more of a 'goal' than a standard party does.
