Member Berry 1,217 June 19, 2016 Share June 19, 2016 I would really like a watercolour tattoo, I think they look amazing: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=Watercolour+tattoo&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwiqxPGuvbTNAhWhJcAKHT4JDzsQ_AUICCgB&biw=1536&bih=731&dpr=1.25 It would be my first tattoo so I want to think about exactly what I want a lot before getting one done. I have read that they don't age particularly well though :/ Has anybody here got one? How has it aged? - Kayleigh
Dark Horse 12,962 June 19, 2016 Share June 19, 2016 Hey there @, I feel the nature of this post would make it better suited for General Discussion, where it would hopefully get more attention to help answer your question. I've gone ahead and moved it there. Thanks! 1 "Always watching - Always lurking." Signature by @Kyoshi
Leave a Whisper 703 June 20, 2016 Share June 20, 2016 That is beautiful, sometimes I want a tattoo, but the idea of needles jabbing into my skin for hours on end scares me.
Member Berry 1,217 June 20, 2016 Author Share June 20, 2016 That does worry me too :/ I'd have something quite small to start with. I can't imagine it's THAT painful as people have more than one. - Kayleigh

Vulcan 3,255 June 20, 2016 Share June 20, 2016 The multiple colors would make tattoo removal difficult so I think I'd prefer an intricate mono-black design any day. I always thought about having a fairy tail emblem tattooed on my chest , I once had it henna'd for a cosplay and it looked really sweet.
darkwingmare 1,321 June 20, 2016 Share June 20, 2016 I don't have a tattoo yet, but I'm getting myself one in October. Sadly, there are no watercolor tattoo artists nearby so I'll have to start with a black ink one.. But yeah, watercolor are extraodrinary and I'd really like one but just like any other tattoo it probably has a tendency to fade. With bright colors, most likely even faster than a black one. 1 “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. Member Berry 1,217 June 20, 2016 Author Share June 20, 2016 I don't think I'd have it removed as tattoo removal looks painful as f*ck. I like too many designs, that's the problem I don't know which one to pick. - Kayleigh

Dreambiscuit 10,094 May 5, 2020 Share May 5, 2020 Water based tattoos are the best way to go if you want to decorate yourself. If you change your mind it's never too late and you can enjoy all kinds of variety. I'm not into having real tattoos but I did get a Frozen 2 tattoo from a box of Poptarts this past winter and applied it without delay. It lasted three days before it wore off and it was a lot of fun. (I did put it on backward so it looked a little funny, but it was still pretty cool).
