All these dang partial shifts, people not being mindful that we have a lot of work to do, people leaving early and coming in late, and the high workload. There’s people who have it worse I have no doubt about it, but hate feeling like I’m carrying the team. Though some of it, some of it is part of the job..

I got diagnosed with something yesterday evening. It’s not surprising. I kinda knew it was coming. I’m not feeling bad about it so much as….now what? I’ve done this song and dance before of a different version of this before. I’ve even posted about it years ago on here. This one’s different but it’s the same sort of thing. We’llwork through it. It’s not a forever sort of thing. It’s just another label for something I already had feeling I had. It’s not a surprise. I just have thoughts. Thoughts my brain wants to have at midnight as opposed to letting me sleep lol.

Yeah it made me upset. Me wandering around alone in a completely different country having never been on a plane before for like 8 hours. For strictly work. No sightseeing nothing. On a completely different timezone to not just work 8 hours in their timezone but also working my normal 8 hour shift on salary mind you. So no paid overtime.

• My stepdad was being a baby, as usual.

• I had one of those paranoid moments where I thought someone from my past had reappeared but that wouldn't really make any sense cause they've been out of my life for years. The fear is still very present though because I always wonder, what would I even say if someone I never wished to speak to again did cross paths with me again?

Well, they're not in your path now . However they made you feel, you don't have to open up, not right away if ever. Otherwise, would really have to take it in slowly and safely...

Oh, for sure!

I think it's just that a part of me wishes I could yell at them and tell them that they've done some awful things, but I know they don't care. Nothing I say would get them to care since they only "cared" when they wanted something.

All we can do is hope they eventually reflect and realize what they're doing isn't acceptable. Best we can do is just... not accept them as they are until maybe they do decide to change.
